Full time, resident position on a 1,300 acre recreational ranch near Bennington, OK. The ranch is located on the Red River, approximately 90 miles north of the Dallas, TX, 30 miles east of Durant, OK. Farm/Ranch life experience is required.
The ranch owners are 2 families who are part-time residents with separate households. We have a small Longhorn herd and 1,300 acres of high fenced prime wildlife habitat.
We’re seeking a hard working, patriotic, Christian couple to help us manage and continually improve our beautiful recreational ranch. The previous ranch management couple is retiring from ranch management after 7 years on the ranch.
Husband’s Experience:
-
Knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, painting and
drywall
-
Experience in farm/ranch machinery and heavy equipment operations,
maintenance and repair
-
Experience in automotive and ranch vehicle operations, maintenance and
repair
-
Experience in welding
-
Experience in landscape maintenance
-
Knowledge to efficiently prioritize ranch work

Working familiarity with computer technology and applications, including MS
Office (Word and Excel), Quickbooks and email

Experience in managing a budget and expense account
-
Knowledge to maintain extensive ranch records

Knowledge in operating and maintaining FCC regulated radio
communication systems is a plus

Experience in livestock care and management is helpful

Experience in wildlife habitat management desired

Work Campers, City Close, Country Quiet - San Antonio, TX

Imediate need for Work Camping couple in a family owned park. Primary need is for strong IT experience from either person, to assume all aspects of IT marketing. Other needs are for events planning, all campground hosting skills including camp ground master, landscaping and marketing.
We are a small but growing park, so everyone needs to be able to wear many hats. Most of our employees can fix a broken pipe, work in the office, sell from the store, do landscaping, clean the laundry room and showers. That said if you have a strong talent, that will be your primary job.
If you LOVE living on a ranch in the country, riding horses, punching cattle, fishing, being in the woods eating fresh farm eggs, then this might be the place you want to stay. Prefer a long term (one year or longer) commitment. Typical work camper conditions and compensation apply but we try to be flexible and accommodating.
