As our Family-Teaching Couple you will provide direct care for 6-8 at-risk youth through creating a safe and loving family style living environment.  Living on-site in a Boys Town Family home, together you will provide youth with moral, spiritual, and educational development needed for future success.  This includes providing emotional support utilizing praise, positive feedback, affection, and empathy to build ones self-confidence and respect.  Through the use of the Boys Town Model, you will guide and teach youth appropriate skills and behaviors.  Using rational problem solving techniques you will teach youth critical thinking skills, assist with behavioral problems, counsel through personal issues, and provide crisis intervention when needed.  As our Family Teaching Couple you will plan, participate, and provide opportunities for individual and family activities that are both educational and entertaining.  Through displaying and teaching parenting, family, and relationship skills to youth, legal guardians, and caretakers you will help create collaborative relationships and family engagement.  You will maintain contact with both internal and external consumers/agencies to obtain and/or provide information regarding youth’s behaviors, strategies, and progress.  As our Family Teaching Couple you will be responsible for maintaining and preparing written records for household budgeting, tracking youth progress, reporting incidents/behaviors, and documenting youth medical needs and appointments.  You will continually provide support for educational success through monitoring youth academic performance.  Additionally, you will teach and role model Boys Town values and ethical behaviors, as well as support and encourage participation in regular religious activities.  As our Family Teaching Couple you will be responsible for supervising the activities of your assigned Assistant Family Teacher to aid in their development and success.  Additionally, you will manage the daily operating schedule of the home; assist with youth transportation needs, and overall household upkeep.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, OR SKILLS

• Be at least 21 years of age or older, except if applying for Washington D.C. due to contractual requirements one must be at least 22 years of age or older
• High School diploma or equivalent is required, some college credit is preferred
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record and the ability to pass a MVR Check
• Ability and desire to work and live with youth
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to work a wide array of hours, which will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• A willingness to learn and implement all phases of the Boys Town Home Model, including all intervention and administrative functions
• *Proven record of sound judgment and ability to work with children in a mature and responsible manner
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and reference verification procedure in order to determine one’s fitness to satisfactorily and safely care for youth
• Ability to attend a two weeks paid training in Omaha, Nebraska

Resident Property Management for a Family Resort - Copalis Beach, WA

We are located in the Pacific Northwest; we have 21 condominiums near a private beach access with modern conveniences found in nearby Ocean Shores, Washington.

We are seeking a long-term professional Caretaker for our property (couples preferred).

Candidates must live within 30 min drive of home or live on site. The property consists of 10 acres with 21 condos and other facilities. The expectations for quality service and efficiency are high. Must be experienced working in and around being able to demonstrate skill and depth in all aspects of managing a large property. We would like someone who is very professional, local, and highly trustworthy. Duties are overall maintenance and care of the property including front desk booking and customer service. This includes overseeing others as well as ‘hands-on” execution. We will provide housing and extra cash for work. 

Resident Property Management  for a family resort. The positions require a self-motivated full time two-person team, with good problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach incorporated with great customer service capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

Administrative skill set: Basic computer skills are necessary for use with Microsoft Word and onsite management software. Must have a professional appearance and the ability to interact calmly and professionally with our guests. Duties include Front desk, maintaining occupancy levels and increase occupancy through marketing. 

Maintenance skill set: Hands on general maintenance abilities necessary. Ensure physical operations are maintained to BEACHWOOD RESORT standards by conducting inspection of grounds, maintenance of common areas, rule enforcement, site inspections, reading of utility meters, swimming pool maintenance.

Basic Requirements:
• Currently living in or near the Pacific Northwest and willing to re-locate and interview in person.
• High School diploma or equivalent (working experiences)
• Must have clean record; pass a background check, drug and physical capability check.
• Manufactured housing property management experience preferred

House Parent Couple - Panama City Beach, FL

 Provide direct support and guidance to children in sibling groups between the ages of 6 – 12 years of age in an 8 bed group home setting.  In order to provide stability and consistent services to the youth, this position requires the House Parent to work a rotating shift of four days on and four days off, house parents reside at the group home only when working their four day shift.

High School diploma or GED required with a year’s experience working adolescents and/or children.  Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.

Resident couple full time to manage and maintain self storage, truck rental and parking rental in metro Atlanta, Georgia .

Experienced couple to manage unique 17-room Motel - Immediate Opening - Jackson, MN

Experienced, mature couple sought for a 17-room motel catering mostly to local, regional and international travelers to Jackson, MN. Prefer if one partner can do maintenance. Motel operates all year round and is located 2 hours and 40 minutes from Minneapolis and 1hr and 25 minutes from Sioux Falls, SD.

This is a unique half-underground motel with loads of charm and very popular on Trip Advisor and other similar websites. The motel sits just off of Interstate 90 and is located within minutes from Lake Okojobi near the Iowa border, which offers a number of vacation attractions. Summer is our busy season.

Prior inn keeping experience preferred but will consider hard working couple with excellent customer service and maintenance skills.  $1200/month salary plus 1 bedroom, 1 bath onsite living quarters with all utilities paid.  Responsibilities include online reservations, guest check in/out, front desk service, reservation management, overseeing small housekeeping staff, and some laundry duties. Computer skills are a must. Extra pay for some maintenance work beyond the basic upkeep.

Workcamper/Workcamper couple needed Immediately.  Duties include but not limited to lawn maintenance, pool & hot tub maintenance, janitorial support and normal park mainteneace.general repairs.  Experience helpful, but training will be provided.

In exchange for 20 hours of work per week a FHU site (electric, cable & Wi-Fi included) will be provided.  All Additional hours worked are PAID.  Possible long term position. 

Our guests are long term that work in the area.  Stonebridge RV Park & Resort, Sweeny, Texas stays at or above a 98% full capacity rate.  Beautiful Texas beaches are 40 minutes away.  Our amenities include a beautiful lodge with 55 " Smart TV /Blu Ray, indoor gym, laundromat, propane grills, outdoor pavilion with 55" SmartTV, stone fireplace, outdoor pool, hot tub, 2 catch & release ponds, outdoor firepit.  We continue to add amenities to the park.
