Live-In Campground Host(s). HOUSING PROVIDED! 20 hours per week - Boulder Creek, CA
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Little Basin Cabins and Campground is looking for one volunteer (couples/families are OK, too) to come stay with us starting June 1st for a minimum of 3 weeks.
A private cabin will be provided for the duration of service, free of charge.
Service would include basic campground maintenance and general help with duties averaging 20 hours per week (see below)
An interview, background check, fingerprints, and references are required for this position.
No experience necessary.
Campground Host Job Duties for Little Basin:
We appreciate our campground volunteers! They are the ambassadors for the campground, our organization, and the state parks. Their ability to answer general questions is invaluable, and their presence in the campground helps make everyone feel safe and well-cared for. They can help campers know about programs at Little Basin, where the trails start, how to be safe in camp, where to find things, and be a positive force in the campground.
The following list contains general campground volunteer host duties. More specific duties may include light housekeeping, front desk work, assisting with maintenance or clerical projects, office help, leading hikes, etc.
Duties:
-Campground Check.
* Go around campground and check campsites and parking permits. Greet campers, answer questions, and ask those who need to check in or move vehicles to do so.
* Go through campground at check out time, and remind guests of departure time, how to clean their site, put out campfires, etc.
* Pick up any trash or fallen debris in campground roads or near buildings.
* Bathroom Check. Sweep up any loose paper & refill paper as needed. Report to maintenance if anything needs attendance.
* Campfire Check of Campsites.
* Crumb Clean Check of Campsites. Leave a note if any food has been left out overnight or not properly put away.
-Office Check In.
* Report to office and maintenance about anything needed for the campground.
-PM Campground Check.
* Go around the campground and checking in after quiet hours 9:30-10:30pm and remind campers of quiet hours, check bathrooms, assist as needed and report any problems/concerns to the staff person on call at the site.
Parking available for small RVs or travel trailers. No dumping or electric hookup available for RVs on site; Big Basin State Park has dump sites available, a 15 minute drive away.
Pets, smoking and alcohol are prohibited on campground property.
This is a volunteer position. "Payment" is in the form of free housing.
Workcamping Couple- Seasonal - Pharr, TX

Large FUN FRIENDLY RV Resort in Deep South Texas in search of a couple to open, maintain and close our 15 rental units. Must be able to work flexible hours as demanded by our incoming or outgoing renters. Will work a combined total of 24 hours per week. Once units are filled you will help with other routine maintenance jobs in the park. Seasonal position Sept/Oct to Apil/May
Compensation is full RV hook up incuding electric and basic WIFI available in Nov. Golf cart provided when needed.

This position provides a wonderful assistant manager's home, salary and utilities. This Mobile Home Community allows small pets on approval.
REQUIREMENTS: Work hours are M-F, 8am-5pm (except for occasional appointment, and possible emergencies). Individuals must be a team player and take direction from Supervisors. RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: all aspects of management including, Rent Collection, Eviction process as necessary, maintain organized resident files, help with preparing notices for manager on rules and regulations violations, must be able to upload files into our rental system. Promote positive resident relations through various programs; resident activities, potlucks, etc. Work effectively, cooperatively, and respectfully with property managers, clients and other vendors.
Couples Innkeepers - Mendocino, CA

Seeking an enthusiastic couple to oversee daily operations at a bed & breakfast located in Mendocino, CA. The beautiful oceanfront property includes a main house with guest rooms and eight cottages sattered on two acres of coastal grounds. Owners are managing the property remotely, so this position requires the couple to live on-site and be available 24/7 in case of emergency.
The position involves all aspecs of inn keeping, including, but not limited to: taking reservations, preparing and serving brekfast, concierge services, light housekeeping and supervision of six part-time employees. Some computer skills reuired. the ideal couple wil be trustworthy, reliable and professional with open and honest communication. Excellent custokmer service skills and friendly, outgoing personalities are a must. Work camping couple needed in Northwest Fl May thru Sept 2016 - Pensacola Area (Milton), FL

We are looking for a couple to work this Summer starting Mid May thru at least the summer and possibly into next winter for the right couple.
The couple would work on both Saturday 1:30 pm to 7 pm and Sunday 8am to 7 pm . Off the rest of the week. Each work 15 1/2 hours a week for in exchange for a full hookup site to include Water, Electric(50,30 & 20amp) sewage, limited Propane, Extended Satellite TV, free WiFi(e-mail & light surfing) and free laundry facilities and get paid 1 hour each week at minimum wage, this would also cover you for our work camper for workman's comp.
Below is a description of the jobs we are looking for our work campers to do.
We are a smaller park, 75 sites, so we are pretty laid back but being a clean and friendly park is very important to us.
The office part of the job(usually the woman's side) is pretty basic, we want someone who is engaging, friendly and personable. Someone the campers want to talk to, makes them feel welcome and want to come back. Mostly reservations(both phone and drive in) and registering guest with our campgrounds software, it is pretty easy to use. I am a strong believer in cheat sheets. Doing small task around the office. Collecting money for propane sales. Checking & answering e-mail and checking area event on the computer as well as updating some paperwork in computer. Some Internet marketing but its just search and e-mail mostly. Keeping the office clean and copying/printing paperwork we hand out. Helping to clean the outside office area also watering plants and such.
The outside part of the job(usually the man's parts) is not to tough either .It's mostly being nice to the campers, keeping the park clean to include bathrooms and laundry, pumping propane and helping some of the campers park their RV's(spotting only). There is not any heavy lifting involved and strenuous activities. We have small jobs like painting smaller stuff or using a blower on rocks. I can send a copy of the Outside Duties, but like I said it is pretty easy stuff.
Also we do a basic background check all of our employees, and we do have to file an I-9 form on
all workers.
Extra hours at minimum wages are possible , but usually not available very often.
Please checkout our website. We have been open just at 7 years. We are about 5 mile from a Wal-Mart, K-mart, Target, Grocery stores and churches of many denominations. There are mall about a 15 minute drive from us. We are 1/2 mile from I-10 so far enough away so no road noise but close enough that easy travel. We are about 25 to 30 minute to Pensacola & Navarre Beaches. We have several military bases close to us both Air Force and Navy.
