Working Couple for 31 unit NH Lakes Region Motel and Cottages
We are looking for a couple to live on site in 3 bedroom managers houaw and provide front desk solution, assistant management support, and yardwork/gardens, light maintenance, and some head housekeeping assistance depending on which scenario below you may be interested.
We are looking for couple who understands this business is 24/7. We don’t expect that. We are dividing up the workload to ensure time to live and enjoy. A couple is a team, we expect the team to work together. Phones are portable and so is the doorbell. You will not be a slave to the desk (although some days, yep, you will).
Depending upon which scenario below you are interested, you will have two consecutive days or one day off. The season is relatively short with a busy summer.
We are looking for tinkerers and putters. People who take pride and get it done.
This is an ideal position for someone who wants to work and play in New England in the summer and winter in Florida or south in the winter.
Scenario One - Desk and Maintenance / Yard Work - 2 consecutive days off
First the Reponsibilies
Management
- Must have hotel/motel experience. It is a short season and we want someone able to get right into it. Someone who is already familiar with standard policies, such as cancellation, no shows, additional guests and other misc fees, etc. As we said, familiar with the business.
- As the onsite manager you will ensure guest behavior, deal with any small maintenance issues that may come up, and provide general help as needed
Yardwork / gardens

Mow and weed whack property once per week or as needed

General grounds maintenance

Take care of flower gardens and planters
Light maintenance

Light bulbs, toilet issues, blown breakers/fuses

We will be doing painting all season, so helping here and there with painting

Live-in Domestic Couple in Southampton - New York City, NY

A family based in NYC with a seasonal home in Southampton is looking for a Domestic Couple for their Southampton home. The schedule is Thursday to Monday, live in. An apartment on site is provided for the couple.
Duties to include cooking, all housekeeping, laundry, inventories, pantry stocking, scheduleing, maintaining outside areas, working in a team, flower arranging, preparing for large parties and all serving duties. Both candidates must drive as they will be required to take care of personal errands, groceries, dry cleaning and pick up and drop offs. Should have the initiative to know what is needed without direction, have a stellar work ethic and a high level of attention to detail. Must have extensive previous experience working as a couple in a formal home.

FEATURED JOB OPENING: Caretakers for Duck Club - Northern California, CA

Couple needed for year around caretaking duties for a duck club in Northern California. Duties include keeping up the facility, equipment and vehicles. Responsibilities include taking care of all meals for the membership (average of 10-15 per meal) during the hunting season on the average of 2-3 days per week. Boating experience is a plus but can be trained.
Full time on site living facilities include satellite TV, internet and phones as well as a private caretakers apartment which consists of three rooms and two baths. All utilities are taken care of and club vehicles are provided. All meals are provided during the 4 month hunting cycle.
Motivated self starters with general skills would love this job. Beautiful views in a remote setting but only 15 minutes away from civilization. Compensation based on experience and knowledge.
