Duck Club Caretakers - Colusa, CA

Historic Butte Sink (N CA) duck club seeking full-time, year round caretakers. 

Live and work in the heart of the famous Sacramento Valley Butte Sink.  Established (1923) 1200 plus acre duck club.  Private lodging, utilities, medical, retirement, vacation, and flexible hours.

During duck season:  cook, clean, and help service member needs. Monitor and maintain water levels.

Off season:  assist with equipment and facility maintaince and repairs.  Help maintain the habitat and ground's.   Farm for ducks and geese.   Supervise and assist part-time employees with blind dressing, field preperations, etc.

Salary range based on experience.  

RV Resort Management Couple/Team - Cokato, MN

Seeking an enthusiastic Couple/Team needed for day to day operations/management of a RV Resort located in central Minnesota on Cokato Lake, 3 miles north of Cokato, MN.  Managers to live on site (living quarters provided) for this full time year round position. If you have always wanted to work together, this is a wonderful opportunity to work in a fun environment where guests and their families come to vacation.  We are looking for someone to start immediately.

Cokato Lake RV Resort (CLRVR) is comprised of 225 sites that are a combination of privately owned and rentable sites. Resort has a store, game room, two separate facilities for restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, a chapel, entertainment barn, fish cleaning facilities, a miniature golf course, softball field, basketball and tennis courts, volleyball area, horseshoe pits, outdoor swimming pool, playground area, an animal park, dumping station, boat and trailer parking, centralized dock system and boat slips, and miscellaneous garage and tractor sheds.

We are seeking a couple/team that has people skills and knowledge / experience in the hospitality industry.  Management Team will be required to work weekends, evening and extended hours during the camping season (May-September).  The Management team would take direction from the CLRVR Association Board of Directors comprised of 5 site owners.

Job Duties include:

• Administration of theAssociation’s property under the direction of the Board, such as record keeping procedures as they relate to injuries and incidents, reading electric meters, basic insurance knowledge, and ability to implement weather emergency plans.
• Some responsibilities for the financial duties as they relate to the store operation, general ledger, reporting, and expense management.
• Customer service duties.  Need to be professional, courteous, and have good listening skills; a knowledge of the potential liability resulting from his/her actions, maintain phone coverage and have ability to deal with complaints objectively and consistently.
• Grounds and equipment maintenance duties such as execute and schedule landscape and equipment maintenance, supervise vendors, ability to manage a small animal park and janitorial/housekeeping tasks.
• Ability to operate a commercial pool or will get required training to do so.
• Will operate store during camping season and have the ability to create an operation/inventory plan.
• Liaison with local public safety agencies, oversee injuries/incidents, and recommend/implement improvements to the security of property.

Compensation: $50,000 in wages for the entire team/yr., on-site living accommodations including utilities, and paid vacation (to be taken in the off season).

Staff Position for Couple

Texas’s Premier Gated Coastal RV Resort is looking for a LONG TERM couple/team for a work camper/staff position.  Note this NOT a seasonal position. This is a year around position.

Located on the Central Coast of Texas minutes from beaches, fishing, golf, shopping and much more this NEW resort is offering long term opportunity for the right couple. Typical position would require wife to work the office and the husband to work and perform outside duties.

Inside duties include and are not limited to:

·         Reservations and booking guests, CAMPGROUND MANAGER skills would be great. Light computer work, checking in and out guests.

·         Keeping clubhouse clean and presentable

·         Cleaning bathrooms, laundry and fitness center

·         Managing a cash drawer

·         Keeping store organized

Outside duties include and are not limited to:

·         Mowing grass

·         Weed eating

·         Ant poison

·         Spraying round up as necessary

·         Blowing clubhouse porches off

·         Cleaning the pool and hot tub

·         General maintenance and repairs

·         Painting

·         Cleaning bathrooms

·         Must Fill propane bottles and RV’s  (certification required) 1 day class and test

Inside Position

Computer skills (Excel and Word), reservation systems, counting money out, cash drawer management, general cleaning.

Outside Position

Propane filling (or ability to attend 1 day class and pass open book test), Knowledge, operation and maintenance of lawn mowers, edgers, blowers, electric drills, saws.

Live in Innkeeper(s) - Bar Harbor, ME

Innkeeping individual or couple wanted for classic Victorian style, Select Registry bed and breakfast.   Positions are seasonal, late April through October with winter accomdations by prior arrangement. 

Position One:  Evening Innkeeper -  2:00 - 10:00pm, five days per week and available onsite from 10:00pm - 6:00am daily.  Includes all levels of guest service and innkeeping including reservations and reservation software, record keeping, light housekeeping, minor food preparations and light maintenece. 

Position Two: Swing Innkeeper - 2:00-10:00pm two days per week and three day shifts of Innkeeping.  Includes all levels of guest service and innkeeping including reservations and reservation software, record keeping, light housekeeping and laundry, minor food preparation and light maintenece.

Applicants must be detail oriented, able to mulit task, be physically fit and have excellent communication skills, able to resolve all guest questions and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.

Compensation includes private one bedroom apartment (for couple filling both positions only or individual in Position Two). Non smokers, no pets.  In town location. Second jobs are allowed noting overnight requirement for Position One.

Housekeeping/Front Desk - Gunnison, CO

We are seeking up to two individuals for the 2017 summer season (May to November.) We are seeking folks who can help with housekeeping, some front desk assistance and possible additional hours helping with light maintenance. This is not a management position.

We would want individuals who can commit to approximately 20 hours a week.

We are a small (currently 17 units) retro lodging property located on three acres with easy access to downtown, fishing, hiking and mountain biking.

We are highly rate on Trip Advisor. It is important to us that employees are willing to work to a high standard.

We provide housing (a large RV—while nice for a couple not suitable for a family), utilities and wages. Wages are based on experience.

We are located in the middle of a very nice neighborhood. The location will be quiet, and the neighbors are very friendly. The owner of the property will generally be on site as well.

This is a perfect job for someone who is looking for a way to spend the time in Gunnison and Colorado and yet still have plenty of time to enjoy all area.
