Summer Camphosts - Anchor Point, AK

We're looking for camphosts for a small park (less than 20 sites) on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. We're walking distance to the ocean and an awesome river that has king and silver salmon runs.

The season runs from May 15th to September 15th (we're flexible on the dates). We'd be looking for two (sets of) camphosts to work rotating 4 days on 4 days off manning the checkin/gift shop. Set hours are 9-12 and then 3-8 plus any after hours checkins/firewood sales. We're really light on groundskeeping, we end up taking the weedeater out once a week or so, no mowing. There's some light retail around the gift shop. We love our place, and take care of our guests. It's pretty quiet with a nice mix of locals and tourists. In exchange for coming up for the season, we can cover the site rent, internet, laundry, and can put you on charters for fishing. At the end of the season, there's a $1000 bonus and maybe the possibility of a place over the winter if you wanted to stick around. We can also fill in as needed if you want to take an extended trip somewhere.

FEATURED JOB OPENING: Long-Term Caretaker/Dog Sitter Position - Cornish, NH

STARTING IN LATE APRIL
1826 historic homestead in southwestern New Hampshire needs a dependable non-smoking 
person or couple to provide care for this second home and 2 large but gentle adult dogs
(St. Bernard mix and Newfoundland) while the owners are away during the work weeks.  
The four bedroom/3 bathroom house has a newly renovated kitchen-family room with 
a woodstove on 53 acres.  Located in a quiet country setting with a post and beam barn,
miles of stone walls, orchards, pond, streams, mature gardens, 200 tap sugarbush, forest
trails, 20 honeybee hives, fields and woodlands. 

Duties include caring for the dogs, keeping the house clean, small home
maintenance projects and gardening.  It is expected that these duties will take
ten to fifteen hours per week.

You will be provided housing, utilities, internet access and a monthly food allowance. This is not a paid
position. Your accommodations include a private bedroom and access to a full bath within the
house that would be shared when guests of the owners are at the house (5-10 weekends
per year). The caretaker shall have one weekend off each month and two weeks vacation
annually. Owners plan to be at the home about ten to 15 days per month.

Minimum qualifications: One year commitment starting in the second half of April. References, High
School diploma or equivalent, able to communicate well in English, caretaker experience, previous
dog ownership, basic maintenance and gardening skills. Must pass a background check.

very flexible, with no set hours with the exception of keeping a regular
schedule for the dogs.

We are located in western Sullivan County NH, 1 mile away from the covered bridge

Windsor. We are within 30 minutes from the cosmopolitan towns of Hanover, New
Hampshire (home of Dartmouth College)and Woodstock, Vermont and 2.5 hours
from Boston. X-Country ski/snowshoe/hiking trails are in abundance on the property
and nearby. Gas and a grocery chain store are within 5 minutes, box store shopping areas
are within 20 minutes.

A car and valid driver's license will be necessary in order for you to run
errands. Ability to work unsupervised and have aptitude/experience on small
home maintenance projects is greatly preferred.

Work Campers needed Immediately- On the Beach - Rockaway Beach, OR

We are accepting applications for work campers immediately, with at least a 6 motnh commitment. If you are looking for a relaxed stay on the Oregon coast in exchange for duties around the park, we are the park for you! The park is located on the beach just 12 miles north of Tillamook, near some of the best fishing, clamming, kite flying, beach combing and whale watching on the coast. We are known as the 'quiet, peaceful park' on the Oregon coast.

We are looking for cheerful, outgoing couples to help us run our park. You will need your own RV. Your site and amenities of water, sewer, garbage, electricity, propane, wi-fi, cable tv and laundry facilities are deducted from your gross pay at $250 mo. Pay is $10.25 per hour per person for every hour worked. 30 to 40 hours per week per person depending on campgrounds needs. A criminal background check and drug test are required prior to hiring.
