Looking for friendly couples or single to Workamp at our award-winning upscale family-friendly RV park in popular Eagle River WI.

We have 150 sites on 75 acres of beautiful Northern Wisconsin forest with the heaviest concentration of lakes in the country! We need energetic, young-at-heart, able-bodied people.

For the 2018 season, we would provide you with nicely wooded, large sites averaging 40 x 40 that have full hookup 50 amp electric with city sewer & water, free WIFI at clubhouse, laundry allowance and all utilities included in exchange for 24 hours of work. Couples will each work 12 hours per week. We can discuss which days work best for you both. Any additional hours required above 24 hours/week will be paid. Outstanding customer service skills and positive attitude required!

Duties may include: general maintenance, cleaning, light housekeeping, camp store, light food preparation, event & activities, grounds maintenance, bathroom cleaning, answering phone calls and general guest relation services.

Job Description:

Responsible for phone, internet and walk-in inquiry conversions - Renting Storage Units

Collecting Payments

Making Collection Calls

Maximizing Occupancy and Rents

Maximizing Revenue and Overseeing all aspects of the operation of the facility

Responsible for recommendations and implementation of local marketing initiatives

Marketing to local businesses and apartment managers

Responsible for customer service (rentals, payments, sales and customer issues)

Ability to be driven by performance goals

Responsible for maintaining customer files and auction statuses

Responsible for maintaining and improving facility appearance

Responsible for daily walkthrough of our facility

Responsible for daily bank runs/deposits

Light to heavy maintenance and clean-up work required

Responsible for cleaning units and interior buildings

Self-Storage management experience a plus

Total Compensation for the Facility Manager AND Maintenance Manager includes:

+ Housing provided at $500/mo ($250 per manager) with all utilities provided at no cost
+ $3,640/mo ($1,820 per manager), paid as hourly wages
+ SIGNIFICANT potential for commission if performance incentives are met

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Domestic Couple for Hudson Valley Home - Hudson, NY

We are looking for a live-in couple that demonstrates skills in all areas of household maintenance to take care of our second home in Hudson NY starting July. Duties will include home maintenance, deep housekeeping, cooking, and ground keeping.

Guest House Couple - Fortuna/Arenal, Costa Rica

We are looking for a couple or individual to live with one of the two owners in the house, and sometimes without, when they will cover for the owner. The owner(s) will oversee the two guest rentals on the property, and help the tourists with their travel experiences. However the caretaker(s) will be qualified to take over the tasks involved in doing that when necessary.

IDEAL place for a COUPLE, either Retired, bird-watching lovers, or young entrepreneurs who might even want to help us develop its online or in reality presence and concept. We are interested in the movements here for organic food, yoga and live music. We serve no food for guests, for example, that could be a project that our individual or couple begin to do to make some income for themselves.

We need people who are clean, quiet, respectful, helpful, low-maintenance and pleasant, and like to cook.

They will need their own four-wheel drive as the home they will share with us is on one mile of bumpy gorgeous country road with vast rolling pasture and cows and horses grazing, overlooking the Arenal Volcano near La Fortuna/Arenal. We would like them to buy (we will pay for our own food) the food for the house and be responsible for preparing all the meals. In exchange, we will provide rent free and cover their costs (within reason) for propane, water, electric and wifi. We are located between two world-famous resorts: The Springs Resort —with amazing hot springs, tubing, kayaking, an animal preserve, many restaurants, everything the finest, and Leaves And Lizards- horse ranch with villas. Our guest houses provide maximum privacy with maximum service. And access to all the Fortuna outdoor challenges.

As I mentioned they will also help us oversee the guest houses and the coordination of care for the home and guest houses and the landscaper as needed.

They may also have a project of their own of adding on a hammock area or creating an organic garden as there is a partially undeveloped area in the acre of gorgeous walkways and plant life.

The property has as many as 61 species of birds. A half-olympic size new outdoor swimming pool with electronic waterfall.. Two guest houses each with their own bathroom, holding from 2-7 guests at any time. And a game room also with complete bathroom, pool table, dart board, refrigerator. The larger guest house has a large outdoor kitchen and barbecue, fridge, dining room area, sitting area, is spacious and gorgeous.

Mainhouse

We have a 3-bedroom home, living room, dining room & kitchen area and laundry area. One bedroom is near a front porch with a view of rolling pasture and cows and the other bedroom is near the back yard with banana “trees” (they are actually a form of bush) that attract Costa Rica’s amazingly diverse bird population. There is one complete bathroom and one half. The third is smaller, contains a small office with printer, as well, and views passion vines and hummingbirds throughout the day. Our caretaker individual would take the smaller room. My son (an owner) the front bedroom, and I (the second owner) would have the back bedroom when I am here. Our caretaker couple would have the back bedroom, and when I am here I would take the smaller individual bedroom.

We have two guest houses we’d like a couple to watch over. Each has a complete bathroom.

We need a trustworthy couple or individual care-taker roommate to live here a minimum of two months at a time. With clear contractual agreements.

We will manage the business end of things, in terms of bookings and help with tours in the area, etc. but the couple would need to be ready to greet our guests as they come and make sure to tell us that the landscape-maintainer and the maid have kept up with the guest needs and that they themselves are treated with the utmost respect as well.

Basically because there is no food to serve, the “job” of the couple entails giving guests the keys and getting back the keys as keys are expensive and include an electronic gate opener for the driveway into the property. Being here when we can’t be here during weekdays, some weekends, etc. And providing the meals for us consistently (we pay for our own food costs).

Anything else I can do to help….Everything is in good working order, pretty and well-maintained and we would just want people who would keep it like that and enjoy the piece of paradise we have here.

We are between Monterrey and La Fortuna, near the famous Arenal Volcano. Our place is a slice of jungle in an area remote enough to be quiet and gorgeous, but close enough to all the tourist activities and restaurants, and incredible resorts etc. in the area.

Best if you speak some Spanish and you must have your own 4 wheel drive vehicle (which can be a challenge to buy here in Costa Rica but is possible!)
