Self Storage Management Team - Ocean Isle Beach, NC
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We are looking for self-storage location management teams in the Ocean Isle Beach and Asheville, N.C. areas. We also have some potential openings in South Carolina.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to-
· maintain daily operations of property
· successful conversion of telephone, internet and walk-in inquiries into rentals
· sales of boxes, locks, and packing material
· manage account receivable process through pursuit of collections, posting of payments, and processing of daily bank deposit
· ensures the company standards of cleanliness & appearance
· marketing to local businesses and apartment managers
· maintain accurate records for each customer including lease, addendums, and correspondence
· perform light repair and maintenance duties, including but not limited to: clean units and interior buildings, wiping down doors, pickup up trash, cleaning hallways, office, and bathrooms
· perform preventive maintenance such as but not limited to: change HVAC filters as required, grease door springs on roll-up doors, oil gate chain as needed, routine maintenance of golf cart
· monitors the physical condition of the property and reports any maintenance issues
· oversee contractors and third party vendor’s work
· keeps foreclosure documentation organized and accurate, following company foreclosure checklist and set guidelines
· assist with the auction process
· manage U-Haul transactions, rentals, reservations, truck/trailer parking and routine maintenance
Job Requirements:
· Excellent communication skills both on the phone and in person
· Works well in a team setting or independently
· Has good organizational skills and basic bookkeeping
· Knowledge of computers is a must (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Etc.)
· Valid driver's license and insurance with access to reliable transportation
· To successfully perform the duties of this position will require the use of a personal vehicle. Employees must maintain automobile insurance throughout his/her employment which protects the Employees in the event of an accident. Employer or its agents accepts no responsibility for damage incurred during travel
· Open work availability, including weekends and some holidays
· Ability & willingness to perform light maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, wiping, lifting, etc.
· Willing to travel/work in multiple locations if needed (temporarily)
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
· Must have a High School Diploma/GED equivalent and at least two years of related experience (sales/customer service/leasing/rentals)
· Must be a team player and have strong leadership skills
· Must be profit driven
· Job requires constant movement and must be able to lift and move 35 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Must have clean employment history, criminal history, driving record and drug

Storage facility Manager - Lubbock, TX

A 69 space manufactured housing community between Ann Arbor and Brighton will soon be under new management. We're looking for a couple or individual to serve as on site managers. Duties include:
-Collecting rents, distributing notices, and fielding resident questions.
-Showing units that become available to prospective residents, and handling paperwork for move ins and move outs
-Helping coordinate with contractors for the repair of vacant units and other items around the premises
-Record keeping
-General stewardship of the property - keeping an eye on all aspects of the property and overseeing contractors for the proprety maintenance of the proprety.
-Optional lawn mowing, landscaping, and maintenance duties
The property has been neglected by the previous ownership and is currently rundown. We're looking for manager(s) who are excited to be a part of restoring the park and making it better.
This is a part time position with flexible hours, and compensation includes free housing of a 2 bedroom home, assistance with utilities, an additional stipend, and additional compensation for added tasks such as landscaping.
An ideal applicant(s) is:
-Willing to relocate to live on site for ease of management
-Likes working with people
-Is comfortable with computers and smartphones
