One of our couples had to back out, so we are back to looking for 1 couple for Spring/Summer (mid April 1 2019 - Sept 30 2019) These are volunteer positions. No wages involved. You will be working 1 week on and 3 weeks off for every month you are here. In exchange of your time and help you will receive a free FHU site, laundry allotment and discount propane. Your duties would include but not limited to: maintenance (electric and plumbing knowledge is a plus), liter patrol, housekeeping, lite office work. In the summer parking cars.  We are a small campground of 72 sites with a natural spring in a country setting. We have several small herds of deer, peacock, and guineas that roam freely throughout the park. The park is just 8 miles from Garrison Texas. Nacogdoches Texas(the oldest town in Texas) is 17 miles away. You will have plenty of off time to explore the area or just hanging out. Come spend some time with us at Camp Tonkawa Springs.

Live-In Property Caretakers For Couple/Family with small family - Topton, Macon County, NC

Seeking a live-in couple or family with 1-2 children.  There is a caretaker apartment attached to the main lodge suitable for up to 2 children.  Duties include: Cleaning the main lodge and taking care of the maintenance of the Lodge, taking care of the maintenance of the apartment, lawn and garden, handyman services. It is a weekly rental so will have house guests that will have access to the kitchen to use while they are there.  You will be responsible to take care of them while they are a house guest.  Their access to the amenities is priority over your own.

This is a Lodge that was built around 1925-30.  It is on the National Registry of Historical Places.  It was originally an Inn along a well traveled dirt road where weary travelers would seek a nights stay until the main highway was built.  The house has a few rooms that are used for weekly rentals.  The property is 20 acres and has a trout pond, a swift moving creek with a small waterfall on it.  The lodge is a short walk to Lake Nantahala and there are two public boat launches which can be used for boating, but cannot be used for overnight boating dockage.  There is a nearby restaurant accessible by boat and by car that serves great food.  It is 20 minutes from a nearby city, Andrews, NC where most anything that you need you can get there.  It has a 24 hour Ingles Grocery and a Walgreens, several stores and restaurants, wineries and breweries, among other things.  It is 40 minutes from the North Carolina Outdoor Center for kayaking or rafting.

Full-time, live on-site caretaker or working couple wanted for horse operation in Golden, Colorado. Applicants must be experienced, capable of caring for 200 horses (water, throw hay, clean, turn horses in and out), and able to operate equipment such as: tractor, skid steer, and arena groomers. This is a year-round, long term position, and requires a hard worker and self-starter. 

Applicants must speak English, have a valid driver’s license, be drug-free, dependable, honest, and must pass background check and drug test.  Must be able to get along well with others and work closely with our veterinarians, farriers, adult volunteers, and adolescent members.

Salary plus on-site housing in three bedroom remodeled home.  All amenities included (internet, utilities, etc.)
