We are a lovely Wedding Venue and we also offer dinner, bed and breakfast when there are no Weddings. 80 miles south of Edinburgh and Glasgow, nearest city is Carlisle and we are on the West Coast five miles from the sea. Springkell is a Georgian Mansion House.
You would be both living in our Static Caravan in its own peaceful location 100 metres from the main house with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and sitting room. New TV and fridge.
As a busy hotel we are looking for one or both of you to help with the Housekeeping, with Waiting, with Bar Work, with the Mowing and with ensuring the Hotel is running just fine!
We are a friendly family run hotel and super busy.
We would welcome your application to join us from now to early January 2021 and beyond if it all works out. We are less busy in the Winter. January is slow but apart from that we are busy and getting busier.

The innkeeper position is like running your own small business, requiring a wide range of skills and talents. Most of all it requires a love for guest interactions and willingness to do what it takes to exceed guest expectations.It's a hands on position, which when necessary, requires a willingness to help the staff clean rooms and maintain the landscaping in order to succeed with this property.
Our Ideal Team should be looking for and possess the following qualities in a place of employment:
- Long term/ Permanent, full time, year around work
- Be highly motivated, self-starting, and be computer literate.
- Able to manage all responsibilities of the Inn with little direction
- Handyman, and/or maintenance skills are required
- Guest Satisfaction orientated
The Innkeeper position requires a mutually supportive, mature 2 person team, living and working together on the premises 24/7. Scheduling yourselves to insure proper coverage with having 2 to 4 part time staff on hand to help with office and housekeeping duties.
Requirements and Responsibilities included but not limited to the following:
- Daily direct guest sales via (front desk), email and phone inquiries.
- Availability weekends, Holidays, and work based on booking patterns.
- Guest Services, assisting guests with reservations and activities in the area.
- Small business accounting, compiling daily reports to be submitted to the accountant and owner
- Supervise staff to ensure coverage and cleanliness of rooms.
- Housekeeping and Laundry - DAILY
- Grounds and property maintenance - including but not limited to light plumbing, electrical, preventative maintenance on guest rooms and areas.
- Daily Interactions with the owner of the property and operations staff.
Compensation:
- Salary - up to $600 per week, per couple -
- Fully Furnished Innkeeper Apartment on premises w/all utilities: (water, electric, internet and TV included) 2 Bedroom suite on site.
- Ability to earn paid personal days, and paid vacation after a year.
- Please note that we do not offer any medical benefits at this time.
We are seeking a couple that is friendly, honest, energetic, hard working, business minded, can tackle any situation that may arise in a calm manner, pays close attention to detail and cleanliness. This is a very physical job, it will at times, require one or both of the team to do housekeeping, laundry and outside work in the Florida Keys environment. .
Must be able to work without direct supervision on a daily basis and enjoy the hospitality industry in fulfilling gust needs with emphasis on cleanliness and friendly personal service.

Volunteer Campground Host with the US Army Corps of Engineers - Celina, TN

Volunteer Campground Host with the US Army Corps of Engineers at our Campground – Celina, TN Beautiful family oriented location seeking a pleasant couple for operation of USACE campground registration center. Volunteer Park Attendant Assistants are needed for the 2020 recreation season at our Campground: May 15 to November 2nd.
Camping pad with utilities, along with all training for success, is provided. Responsibilities include operation of the registration center and greeting customers. Work days include Tuesday and Wednesday. Necessary skills needed include Windows based computer operation, good communication, organization and customer service. Dale Hollow Lake is a vacation destination that offers unlimited water-based recreation. A background check will be required. View campground information at www.Recreation.gov. The campground is located 3 miles from Celina, TN. The river is noted for trout fishing. Lake access is 3 miles at Pleasant Grove. Camping pad with utilities will be provided in exchange for the volunteer service. The volunteer may live in the park during the 172 days the campground is open and will work on Tuesday and Wednesday of each week totaling to 48 work days. The offset for the camping site is a value exceeding $5,600. The volunteer site is 30’ long and 12’ wide with an additional 2 foot overhang on the length. This back-in site has 30’ level on a concrete pad for the RV with additional gravel space for parking an extra vehicle. There are steps leading down to the picnic table and grills. The site has water, electric and sewer hookups. Volunteers will coordinate with contracted park attendants that work Thursday to Monday. Volunteers will be responsible for the campground operation on Tuesday and Wednesday. Additional duties include coordinating info with the contracted attendant and opening/closing gates, along with campground patrols on assigned work days. Work Campers - Orange Beach, AL

Needing a couple to work 2 days per week 8:30 to 5:00 pm and every 3rd Sunday. Need to be available from April 2020 till September 2020.
This is a non pay position and is for FHU, cable, wifi and use of the amenities on property in exchange for work. One will be in the gatehouse for reservations using LivRez software and the other would be on the outside getting lots ready for arriving and departing guests along with pool cleaning, restroom cleaning, and grass cutting. This is a Class A and Super C only resort. The lots are privately owned and there is a covenant set by the owners as to the type of motorhomes accepted.
Some of the duties include:
Cleaning the clubhouse including restrooms
Reservations on LiveRez software
accepting packages from delivery vehicles
grass cutting on lots and spraying for weeds & ants
cleaning grills
wiping down furniture
pool maintenance (not chemicals)
trash pickup 2 times a day
