We are running a garden to plate experience. We are looking for two people:chef’s assistant and gardener position. On the kitchen side: food shopping, food prep, catering, assistant in cooking class. Confidence in a kitchen required. On the garden side: taking care of the vegetable garden, cutting grass, general garden maintenance. We are now hiring!! We are seeking a motivated, reliable, independent affordable housing Manager & Maintenance couple to join our growing team. The position consists of managing two properties.

One property is an elderly disabled 48-unit property located in Berthoud Colorado and the other is a multifamily 12-unit property located in Estes Park. Commuting back and forth to each property and holding office hours at each property is required.

The affordable housing manager should have experience in affordable housing, specifically Rural Development and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit. Knowledge of fair housing laws preferred. The Maintenance Technician should have experience in groundskeeping, plumbing, painting, drywall, snow removal, preventative maintenance, etc. Duties are not limited to what is listed in this ad. Must be available and on call for afterhours emergency calls.

Although experience in affordable housing is preferred, we are willing to train motivated candidates. You must be attentive to the direction received from the main office in Fort Collins, our property Owners and our Compliance Manager.

Salary to be discussed and includes a 1-bedroom apartment at our Berthoud property. The apartment is on the second floor and is in great condition. Salary also includes reduced health insurance rate, paid time off, vacation time and fuel reimbursement.

The Golf Club at Devils Tower has openings in all departments! The 2020 Summer season will be our 3rd year of having workampers and we are excited!

 *Maintenance - (you do not have to have experience and this job can be for men or woman. We will train you how to mow and do any work on the golf course) $10 per hour 30-40 hours per week

Cleaning Couple - Brunswick, GA

We are located in the georgous Golden Isles GA. 

Looking for a cleaning couple to work approximately 24 hours a week in exchange for a FHU site

Site includes water, sewer, electric, Wifi, cable.

We are currently seeking a part-time volunteer Visitor Information Assistant to join us at the Lincoln Woods Visitor Center (cabin) located in Lincoln, New Hampshire, off exit 32 on Kancamagus Highway. One of the busiest trailheads on the Forest.

The position you will be providing Forest Information to walk-in visitors and communicating.

Outdoor recreationalists find Lincoln Woods an excellent starting point for summer activities. There are unlimited recreational opportunities in the White Mountain National Forest.

We are seeking a volunteer to assist the Recreation and Facilities Programs by helping with various projects at our cabin at Lincoln Woods.

Duties include but are not limited to:

•Taking down and installing signs in the field using hand/power/cordless tools at the cabin.

•Painting preparation such as washing and scraping

•Protecting ground and other surfaces from paint splatter with the use of ground cloths, painter’s tape, etc.

•Painting with brushes, rollers, spray cans, etc.

•Cleanup of site and equipment.

•Cleaning toilets and removing trash in recreation sites.

•The volunteer should always have a professional, courteous and helpful attitude when dealing with all members of the public, fellow volunteers and Forest Service employees. The volunteer will be trained in and adhere to all Forest Service safety and customer service procedures.

Required skills and abilities:

•Standing and sitting for long periods

•Light to moderate lifting, 15 – 50 lbs.

•Not adversely effected by dust, loud noise, paint and chemical fumes

•Familiarity with common power tools.

•A valid driver’s license and good driving record

•Other helpful (not required) skills and abilities:

•Painting.

The ideal candidate should enjoy a stimulating work environment and be willing to contribute a minimum of three 8-hour days per week between May 3 and November 2, 2020.

FEATURED JOB OPENING: Summer Maintenance/Housekeeper Couple for Private Recreational Ranch - Laramie Mountains west of Wheatland, WY

Couple needed for seasonal hire (April through Oct)  on a private ranch in the Laramie Mountain Range of southeast Wyoming.  There is a large main residence as well as several outbuildings and structures that will need to be maintained and cared for.  The applicants will be responsible for overseeing all systems within and outside the home and buildings with preventative maintenance always in mind.  The applicants must be mechanically and electrically skilled and capable of maintaining HVAC, lighting systems.  Knowledge in internet researching  will be needed to troubleshoot.

Full, detail oriented zone cleaning housekeeping is required.  

Applicants must be fit and willing to help with physical demands

Helping with other ranch duties may be asked when needed and primary priorities allow.

Grounds keeping

water features, sprinkling systems and various walking paths and patios that need to be maintained. 

Basic vehicle maintenance and cleaning of vehicles

Couple team must be comfortable living in the mountains and be comfortable in an isolated environment.    They need to be able to work alone, but also be comfortable taking direction from the ranch managers and working with a small team.
