Housekeeping/Maintenance Couple - Grand Marais, MN

Looking for a mature, reliable, personable and trustworthy couple to be a housekeeping/maintenance team. Some front desk experience would be great or willingness to learn.
39-room hotel/motel. There is also a seasonal 12-unit annex. Full-time, year-round, live-in position(s). Job requires a self-motivated couple with energy, ability to multi-task and willingness/personality to interact with guests and staff. One person should have good maintenance skills while the other should have housekeeping and/or front desk experience.
Candidate(s) must be customer orientated, self-motivated, and able to multi-task. Ability to bend, lift and work standing for most of your shift.
A valid driver’s license is required for at least one person of the couple.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Maintenance inside and outside.
Routine/preventive maintenance of hotel(s) and outbuildings
Lawn Care
Some snow removal/snowblowing in the winter
Cleaning guest rooms, hallways, common areas, etc. as required
Quality Control check
Laundry
One person of the couple willing to learn and learn and work the front desk if needed
Overnight on-call a minimum of 2 nights per week once trained in
Other duties as required to support the Property Managers
The lodging industry does not conform to the typical 8-5, Monday-Friday schedule; however, you will have a schedule and time off in this support role. Although you won’t have access to the conveniences of shopping malls, movie theaters and other city services, the city of Duluth is only 2 hours away. You will be near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, the Gunflint Trail, Isle Royale and many State Parks. Great scenery and vacation activities abound near Grand Marais, like boating, fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, golf, tennis, biking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, cross country and downhill skiing.
Compensation package includes salary, a non-smoking 2-bedroom apartment with all utilities paid including cable and wifi. This could turn into a Property Management Team position for the right candidates if desired.
Work Campers-Campground - Poplar Bluff, MO

Open year round. Camelot RV Campground is looking for Workamper couples to help with the everyday duties of running a campground. We would like couples looking for "year round or long term" placement. We offer compensation and provide a full hookup RV site with, water, sewer, furnished electric 30/50amp, free cable TV 61 channels, and free WiFi. We also furnish a cart, tools, and supplies for your duties.
We DO NOT charge you with a site fee. We appreciate couples being on the grounds should we need them. We are close to town for your shopping, dining, and miscellaneous needs with a country atmosphere. Town has a large VA Hospital and a large regular hospital. Food companies deliver to your site. Some paper work and cleaning takes place each morning as needed; general maintenance, cleaning facilities and site clean-up, as needed. NO computer skills needed. NO fire pits to clean. NO ground tents. NO pool to clean. NO pet waste station removal. NO cabins to clean. You are not physically working all the time when on duty. Many times you will just be watching and waiting for RVs to arrive. When they do just register and escort them to their site.

The Superintendent and Manager will work with the Club’s board of Directors to identify priorities, and to insure work is completed in a timely and organized manner. The positions include the supervision of part-time help. Housing on site is included.

SUMMARY
The primary role of the Residential Child Care Specialist Houseparent (RCCS) is to oversee the day-to-day care and supervision of the resident children assigned to his/her cottage. The Residential Child Care Specialist/Houseparent is responsible for monitoring all the aspects of daily cottage life and is, in essence, the primary caring person for the child/youth during his/her stay at the Florida United Methodist Children's Home.
EDUCATION/LICENSCES/CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum age requirement for this position: 21 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience with at risk youth in a residential setting preferred
Valid Florida Driver's License (with passenger endorsement).
The RCCS is responsible for completion of required trainings and certifications within the first 90 days of employment or as required by regulation
Marriage License for employees working as married House Parent couples
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with co-workers to support and implement the Teaching Family Model of Care and holistic program philosophy
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with youth
High personal values and standards that serve as model for youth
Demonstrated ability to work with the Treatment Team to make decisions on issues related to the resident/residents in the cottage you are assigned
Must have sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
