We are looking for a working couple to help with the 2021 spring/summer season (Early May - Early October). We are a small family run resort with 5 cabins and 30+ seasonal camping sites located in the Northwoods of Minnesota on the Case Chain of Lakes that includes 2 rivers and 7 lakes. Kitchi Lake itself offers 1,858 acres of varied structure with a max depth of 50 ft. Enjoy catching Walleye - Northern - Muskie - Large & Smallmouth Bass - Crappie - Bluegills & Sunfish! Hike the almost 300 miles of the Chippewa National Forest, the old growth pine forest at the Lost 40, or bike the Paul Bunyan Trail! Easy day trips to the water ways of Voyagers National Park, museums on the Iron Range or exploring the Mississippi Headwaters at Itasca State Park.
We have been expanding and improving the resort over the past few years and this year we are very excited to be hiring our first seasonal team members. Job duties include approximately 20 hrs per week per person on the below items.

Resposibilities include cooking/serving breakfast and one other meal, cleaning bedrooms and house daily, turnover on Saturdays, managing produce from the vegetable gardens and orchards. Outside responsibilities include chickens, vegetable and perennial gardens, olive grove, pool and hottub, and grounds which need to be maintained. The rental season is 10 weeks long. We are seeking a professional, motivated management team at our family-owned, all-ages mobile home park in Flagstaff, AZ.The team should be highly experienced and skilled in office management and facilities maintenance. Property or mobile home park management experience is required.
The office manager must have experience in all aspects of office management. A high level of organizational skills, experience and computer proficiency with applications such as Google Docs and Gmail, Excel and Word, is essential. Duties include but are not limited to processing resident applications and screening; handling resident issues; preparing rentals for occupancy; preparing forms such as lease agreements, tenant notices, move-in/move-outs; electronic and hard copy file organization; rent collection and bank deposits; working with trades and utilities personnel; answering email and phone; processing mail; printing and scanning documents; and regularly communicating with the Co-Owning Manager (COM) by phone, text or email.
The facilities manager must be skilled in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, floors, windows, landscaping, and experience with mobile rehabs/renovations and other as needed. Duties include but are not limited to maintaining the physical grounds, mobile repairs and renovations. The facilities manager must have his own pickup truck (or comparable work vehicle) and tools. We also provide some tools.
The ideal management team will have excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of mobile home park management (mobile home landlord tenant law a plus); ability to work with all types of people; enforce park rules while maintaining a neighborhood feel; and sometimes manage competing priorities.
Competitive compensation includes salary (negotiable based on experience and qualifications), housing (a comfortable single-family home on the premises, not a mobile), utilities, paid cell phone for each manager, and paid vacation. A maximum of two pets under 30 lbs total are allowed.

Job Description for Ranch Maintenance Couple
- Live on premises and provide a pleasant environment for the family and their guests.
- Maintain grounds, main house, storage buildings, and Caretaker Residence.
- Houses must be maintained in “ready” status at all times. This includes keeping all residences in immaculate condition to include bed linens, towels, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, windows, etc. There will be a minimum of three (3) days between family/guest visits to allow time for cleaning between groups.
- Purchase house and property needs. Purchase other items as requested by guests.
- Some meal preparation may be requested from time to time.
- Fertilize, water and mow all landscaped areas in compound and maintain all plants, shrubs, etc. in surrounding areas. Mow and/or trim fence lines and pastures as needed to maintain a clean, organized look. Trim low hanging branches from trees as needed. Mow and keep open all ranch roads and fence lines. Remove cactus, mesquite, and cedar from property as needed.
- Check water wells, fencing and water crossings regularly.
- Check and maintain all air conditioning/heating units, electrical, plumbing, etc. as required.
- Repair, paint interior/exterior areas as needed.
- Maintain swimming pool and equipment.
- Maintain all vehicles and equipment in good running order. This includes maintaining oil changes, tire rotation, etc. for the Ranch Truck, Suburban, Jeep, Tractor, mowers, etc.
- Maintain basic bookkeeping including the checking account register and organization/submission of receipts for expenditures.
- Report bi-weekly, describing the prior two week’s work and detail anticipated activities and expenditures for next two weeks.
