Maintenance & Housekeeping - Rushford, NY

Rushford Cottage Rentals and Event Venue is looking for a couple to help with the 2021 season, mid-May - mid-October.  We are located on Rushford Lake in western NY state the area there is opportunties for fishing, hiking, swimming, boating and enjoying star filled nights and many near by parks and waterfalls.. We have 26 full hookup campsites and 10 cottages; many sites and cottages are seasonal rentals. The positions would include hourly compensation along with full hookups, or another possibilty for housing would be in one of our seasonal RV's. 

 The position we are looking to fill the duties would include Housekeeping position: cleaning overnight lodging units, laundry room, public areas, & bathrooms, Maintenance position: painting, electrical, irrigation, plumbing, equipment repair/maintenance, and general maintenance.

Barn Manager and Caretaker - Milford, NH

Wanted: Full time barn manager and caretaker couple for my facility in southern NH.  The 70 acre farm straddles both sides of the street, with the farm and manager's house on one side, and our private residence on the other side.  I am an active event rider/trainer and have 10-15 horses at my farm during the spring-fall season and then I take some of those horses to my farm in Ocala FL for the winter, leaving the northern farm completely in the manager's hands.  The job includes all typical aspects of managing a horse farm and potentially working with my lesson and training program.

I have a lovely 3 bedroom home on the property that is part of the compensation package. There is stall availability for your own horse. The caretaker position involves property maintenance, and repairs for both the business and private side of the farm.

We are a privately owned Senior Support Residence built in 2010 with twenty four one bedroom apartments, run very much like a boarding house with a small staff. We are looking for a mature couple to take over the day to day management in exchange for a 2 bedroom apartment and salary.

Cleaning Contract Whatshan Lake Retreat Centre - BC

Description:   This is a seasonal cleaning contract for the Whatshan Lake Retreat Centre - cabins (8), suite, and main building.  The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, be of a profession, personable and friendly disposition and able to work efficiently and meticulously.  This position will require additional help during peak periods of group bookings.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

This is a p/t contract as required.

Tasks include:  cleaning of buildings on site after each rental (8 cabins, retreat lodge, and suite), ensure compliance with retreat site operations and safety protocols.

Contract Requirements:  Our ideal candidate has commercial cleaning experience, can multi task, attention to detail, experience with cleaning supply ordering, tracking and inventory .  Has computer experience.  Be able to work in a team environment.  Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs.

This is a contracted position starting.  The candidate must be available during the period of April. 15th - October. 15th, 2021.  The season will be dependent on weather conditions.

Lawn Maintenance Contract Whatshan Lake Retreat Centre - BC

Description:   The ideal candidate(s) will have experience in lawn maintenance, be of a profession, personable and friendly disposition and able to work efficiently and meticulously providing general lawn and trimming care to our retreat grounds. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

This is a 1 half day/week position.

Tasks include:  Mow and water site lawns, trim around buildings and general site aesthetics, general lawn care, ensure compliance with retreat site operations and safety protocols.

Contract Requirements:  Our ideal candidate has experience in operating a riding lawnmower and utilizing small equipment such as:  trimmer, chainsaw.  Experience in operating an underground sprinkling system.  Able to provide light maintenance to machinery.  Be able to work in a team environment.  Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs.
