Summer 2021 work camping opportunities in the Pacific Northwest mountains!

We are getting close to filling all our work kamping slots and we only have room for two more RV's.  Currently seeking fun-loving, family orientated and dependable people for the 2021 summer season. The Leavenworth / Pine Village KOA is a 200+ Holiday park with RV sites, deluxe and rustic camping cabins, as well as tent spots. We are one mile to downtown Leavenworth and basecamp for outdoor hiking, biking, 4-wheeling the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Water sports of all types with Wenatchee River and multiple lakes are less a 30-minute drive. If you are an avid outdoors enthusiast this place is for you!

Positions available in Housekeeping, Maintenance and Registration. Rate of pay: starting wage $13.50 per hour for all hours worked. Site rent: full hookup back-in sites for $50.00 per person per paycheck (paid bi-weekly). You will receive a store discount, weekly laundry allowance and discount on propane. Seeking couples only (no singles as we have a limited number of sites for work campers and need 2 people working per RV) that can commit to May through September 2021.

Camp Hosts - Downieville, CA

We are located in the Tahoe National Forest just outside of Downieville in Northern California. We have a small resort with five cabins and five full hookup RV sites on scenic Highway #49 along the Yuba River. The area is known for incredible mountain biking and hiking trails and endless exploration of gold rush history.

If you are an energetic couple in good health and able to perform the tasks of guest relations, general maintenance, and housekeeping, this opportunity is for you! We offer a full hookup RV space on the river and a weekly salary for this seasonal opportunity. We are hiring now for this position that is available May 15 through October 15.

Maple Grove Hot Springs and Retreat Center is a 45 acre, fully off-grid eco center along the Bear River and Oneida Narrows Reservoir.  We offer 4 hot spring pools, a 30’ group retreat yurt, glamping accommodations in yurts, canvas, cabins for over 30 guests, riverfront beach, hiking trails, paddleboard/kayak rentals, reception lodge/bathhouse, and more.

Maple Grove Center Host Managers

Maple Grove On-site Hosts are often a couple, partners, or  2 friends who work as a team filling one position.  They  oversee the center functions and guest experience while on-site. While on-site, they are the executive presence tasked with representing the intention and service of Maple Grove. They will be an integral member of the founding team of conservationists, healers, explorers, artists, and builders dedicated to the revival of a historical hot springs in the pristine landscape of Southern Idaho.

Commitment:            April 15 2021 - Dec 15 2021

Work Schedule:         Rotating 7 days on, 3 days off

Key Responsibilities

Directly supervise and be accountable for all aspects of on-site Maple Grove Hot Springs Retreat operations when the General Manager not present

Ensure guests have an exceptional “one-of-a-kind” Maple Grove experience

Maintain and builds relationships with property neighbors, local communities, and key partners

Be a Maple Grove representative upholding our vision and core principles

Guest Management

Interact with guests to ensure total satisfaction with resort services

Ensure accurate communication of information to guests regarding resort services, facilities and operating hours, as well as provision of appropriate collateral materials to guests as needed

Maintain consistent standards of guest orientation and escorted arrival tour procedures

Ensure guest satisfaction through appropriate resolution of all issues and complaints

Ensure guests comply with retreat rules and guidelines at all times

 Property Management

Oversee maintenance and upkeep of hot springs, River House, grounds, resort accommodations, and staff housing

Ensure recreational rental equipment is well maintained and safe for guest use

Office Administration

Manage online registrations of lodgings, and daily soaking

Oversee procedures for and maintain accuracy of all cashier functions and ensure staff adherence to all accounting, billing and credit policies

Co-manage social media accounts and email- answering guest inquiries and forwarding content to General Manager when appropriate

Requirements:

Exceptional customer service skills, responsible and mature, and enjoy working with people

Experience managing volunteers & team members

Must be easily adaptable to shifting of work loads and specific tasks

Live and work in remote and at times extreme outdoor conditions (rain, sun, snow)

Pass background check

Valid driver's license

Able to lift up to 30 lbs

Qualifications:

2-3 years experience in eco-tourism, guest hospitality, outdoor education, wilderness therapy, hotel management, or a related field. 

BA/BS degree in eco-tourism, outdoor recreation, sustainability, environmental education, and/or small business is awesome but not necessary

Compensation:

Monthly base salary for team $2500-$3500 (based on experience) 

Free on-site housing with ability to host friends and family 

Tip matching (total monthly tips + match range between $600-$1000+)

9 month contract completion bonus $4000

Double Wide Home and Utilities and Salary $2600/mo hours would be 9-4 M-F with an hour off for lunch.

Janitorial Workampers - Anderson, IN

We are looking for a workamping couple to join our team for the 2021 season.  This is a janitorial position beginning May 1 and ending Septempber 30th.   You will work approximately 3-4 hours per day, every other week.  One week on and one week off.  You will be responsible for the cleaning of 2 bath houses and a laundry room. 

Compensation will consist of a full hook-up site, up to $100 per month for electric and propane, firewood discount, laundry allowance, and various other perks.
