Work Campers wanted – work a max of 30 hours per week combined ( July 30 hours per week most other months 15-20 combined hours )in exchange for RV spot for the summer(Mid May to Sept or longer ) would consider starting early for the right couple – full hookup electric, water, sewer, have Wi-Fi hotspot, pool, boat dock, Lakeview. Family owned Resort and annual RV Park. Must be friendly and hard working. Job includes cleaning cabins 75 % of time and balance in outdoor work – pool cleaning and weed eating may include minor cabin maintenance. Must be like water and to fish and enjoy a quiet setting. Our resort is small and family friendly we allow small non aggressive pets. There is very little opportunity to earn additional income ( would consider additional time for someone with Handy Man skills light carpenter, tile work , plumbing , painting , web page , or organizational skills Great Spring and Fall Fishing). Our community manager teams are the cornerstone of ensuring Roberts Resorts continues to provide the finest manufactured home community in the Austin area.Our team will need to possess excellent organizational, procedural, and customer service skills, ability to stay on budget, proficient computer skills, as well as being hands on in regards to repairs and maintenance. This team’s duties include supervisory, landscaping, maintenance, office management and any necessary duties to accomplish the objectives. We are looking for a team that can work together as well as individually. This is a long term career position for a management team with company loyalty and a positive attitude. Each individual must possess an attitude of self-motivation, problem-solving and hands-on approach to the challenge at the moment. Must be willing to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The Property/Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintenance of community buildings, equipment, pool, electronic entry and exit gates and landscaping of common areas. Duties include lawn mowing, trimming trees and shrubs; developing Statement of Work for contractor projects, conducting lot inspections to ensure property is maintain and safety requirements are met. Read and record water meters every month and ensure they are working properly. The Maintenance Manager must be willing to work alongside the maintenance staff as well as be able to supervise them in maintaining community standards. Enforce community rules and follow all applicable safety measures. Able to prioritize work and budget for maintenance needs is essential. Coordinate with Sales Staff on new home sites. Responsible for measuring lots and coordinating delivery of new homes. Oversee all aspects of the community.
Skills needed: General computer skills, light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, landscaping, irrigation, operate heavy equipment, simple automotive maintenance. Must have a valid Driver’s License.
The Community Manager is responsible for the review, screening and approval of all potential residents, billing and rent collection, eviction process, conducting lease signing and explanation of community rules, maintaining and organization of resident files, input water readings into computer, developing and mailing of monthly rent statements, oversight of RV storage lot and record keeping of all petty cash expenditures. Develop monthly newsletter that promotes community news and activities. Coordinate resident activities such as Senior Luncheons, Bingo, Youth activities, and other activities that promote positive resident relations. Maintains Rental Management program to ensure entries are posted promptly. Maintain a working knowledge of all applicable regulations and laws pertaining to management of a manufacture home community. Work professionally and respectfully with co-workers, contractors, sales staff and residents. Must maintain a high level of confidentially in connection with resident files.
Skills needed: Good communication skills, proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Word, Excel and Quick Books, excellent organizational, procedural, and customer service skills.
A minimum of 2 years supervising and leading others including a track record of successful communication, budgeting, negotiating (contracts and agreements), scheduling and staffing. The Team will be trained on community rules and company procedures. Pay will be determined on experience. The team will be required to live on-site in a management provided home. We allow pets upon approval. Candidates must pass a background and credit check.

Working Assistant Innkeepers for Lodge in Colorado

Small family run cabin property in Colorado needs a working assistant innkeeper couple. Wolf Creek Ski Area is 17 miles up the mountain. We are situated at 8200’ above sea level, central to all outdoor sports year round: snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, ice climbing, mountain biking, hiking, Gold Medal fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling, ATVing, golf and more.**Please do not apply for this position if you have health issues affected by very high altitude and/or cold climate.
This position is being offered as a long term position of one year or more although we will consider seasonal applicants if we are unable to fill this position with permanent personnel. Position requires working in all aspects of the business, including but not limited to: housekeeping, laundry, guest check in/check out, guest relations, repairs, hot tub maintenance, lawn maintenance, errands, reservations, painting, carpet cleaning, being available for cabin emergencies, helping with snow clearing, baking cookies for guests, maybe even some sewing repairs. All employees on property work together at all tasks and are cross trained. If anything needs done, you must be willing to jump right in and cheerfully take care of it. You need to be genuinely happy people with smiles that are great with people and animals and with a positive "can do" attitude. You are happy and willing to work at *ANY* task.
This position offers a minimum of 20 hours per person per week (in slow seasons/off season) to 40 hours a week in busier seasons. There is a possibility you may be asked to work more than 40 hours some weeks due to heavy guest traffic. Hours will vary week to week according to occupancy. We work weekends and holidays. Actual hours worked vary according to guest needs. Although we will try to adhere to a schedule, we must remain flexible as to actual hours worked. You may not be scheduled to work the same hours together on any given day. This position does not anticipate a couple works together every day but we strive to offer two days off together each week. You may be working at different tasks on any given day. One week might be 25 hours with the next week being 35 hours or more with a minimum guarantee of not less than 20 hours per week. Please be prepared to be flexible and enjoy the great outdoors that surrounds us.
Housing offered is a small rustic style (tongue & groove walls/ceiling) furnished studio type cabin set up with kitchen. Five hours per week per person will be worked in exchange for housing. All other hours are paid hours. Housing includes utilities, use of phones (local calls), free wifi, cable TV, use of laundry facilities.
Only those able to take direction and then work independently to follow through on those directions can be considered. We require self starters able to organize work needing done and carry out the work efficiently and quickly. Pay is $7.50 per hour (per person). There are minimal tips to be split between employees. The couple hired for this position will be considered essential personnel and must be very responsible, guest service oriented and willing to go the extra mile if/when required. Our business philosophy is based on bonuses for work well done. You may receive bonuses at management discretion.
Experience has taught us only happy flexible people fit in here and we will, unfortunately, not be able to keep anyone with less than cheerful attitudes coming here to work and live. We are only able to consider non smokers, non drug users and people that are not problem drinkers. We are a small family oriented property. Our property is focused on a healthy environment for our guests.
