Job Responsibilities
Housekeeping:
Responsible for the daily cleaning and maintaining the general appearance of the whole residence
Care of fine furnishings, finishes and delicate surfaces
Washing, ironing, steaming and linen care, including washing delicate fabrics
Making beds, ironing sheets, turn down
Wardrobe management for organization of closets, pack & unpack suitcase, etc.
Organizing and managing household inventories
Meals planning, preparation, cooking and serving
Meals service
Fridge and pantry management
General errand running, including grocery shopping and dry cleaning
Watering plants
Assistance with private and social events
Handling of special requests and related duties as needed
Caretaker / Houseman:
Day to day running of the property to maintain standards and efficiency
General handyman services and non-complex facilities maintenance
Swimming pool and grounds maintenance
Scheduling and supervision of household installations, trades and vendors for interior & exterior and
seasonal projects
Reporting any maintenance and repair needs
Calendar management, coordinate and assisting with event planning
Monitoring household inventories and a budget
Greeting of guests and visitors
Overall vehicle management and chauffeur duties, as required
Boat management
Possible pet care
Handling of special requests and related duties as needed
Job Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years private service experience
Good English communication skills
Must have a valid driver’s license
Experience in hands-on household work and knowledge of all areas of property cleaning, cooking and
organizing (Housekeeper)
Experience in hands-on household work and knowledge of all areas of property maintenance
(Caretaker / Houseman)
Must be tech savvy (familiar with the use of smartphones, smart home systems, etc...)
Have flexibility of schedule
Strong problem solving skills
Have good organizational skills and attention to details
Have a strong work ethic and communication skills
Ability to anticipate the needs of the employer and exceed expectations
Be professional, polished, and maintain confidentiality at all times
Work well with new directives and lists, and open to new ways of doing things
Have the ability to work under minimal direction, be self-starter with an emphasis on client service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong follow through from start to finish on projects
Physically able to handle general property maintenance work
Job Salary
$100 000 to $120 000 per year (in US dollar, gross), according to experience.

Domestic Couple, live-in, sought for Calgary-area property. This position reports to an Estate Manager. The couple will be responsible to participate with the general care and maintenance of the property interior and exterior care. The residence is located 20 minutes to the west of the city. The position is full-time (Thursday to Monday) and live-in. To manage the day to day activities of the residence and property: hands on housekeeping, laundry, care for the interior and exterior of the residence and property in order to maintain high standards and efficiency. Must be flexible with work schedules. Experience with handy man skills and general mechanical maintenance and garden care required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality guest services in a professional, courteous and accommodating manner to all shareholders, staff, guests and outside service personnel;
- Care of fine furnishings and finishes with correct use products and methods;
- Seasonal deep clean and special projects to be completed;
- Full participation with housekeeping, including laundry of beddings, linens and or/ other articles in order to maintain residence ready for guest arrivals
- Supervise trades ,vendors, and contractors;

Requirements:
- To meet the challenges of this role, the ideal couple must be energetic, able to work well in a team, and have excellent problem solving skills. Other requirements include:
- Be physically fit and able to reach and lift medium weight objects (e.g 30lbs to 50lbs);
- Contain a valid driver's license and provide own vehicle;
- Successful completion of a background check;
- Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Previous experience with light machinery, carpentry and landscaping will be considered a strong asset.
- Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle and be eligible to work in Canada;
- Encompass past experience in a private residence;
