Responsibilities will include the broad range of duties involved in Innkeeping, ie:  breakfast preparations, concierge services, reservation management, guest check-in, laundry and some housekeeping, marketing, customer service skills ,attention to detail and the guest needs, routine maintenance and minor repairs, gardening, must be a social media wizard, a great attitude and team player. Working Couple for Private Horse Farm - Brownsville, VT

Looking for responsible, organized, non-smoking couple to oversee and maintain a small private horse farm in Brownsville, Vermont.  Must be able to work independently to oversee and maintain farm and feed and care for two horses and two donkeys.

Job requirements: Provide full care of two horses and two donkeys, general property maintenance and repair (including mowing, weed whaking and fence repair) and weekly house cleaning of owners' home.  Prior experience in caring for horses required.

Good communications skills are essential.  Must have a strong work ethic and a desire to keep the animals and the property in first class condition.

Compensation consists of a separate, partially furnished house, all utilities and a $250 weekly salary.  Applicants would be free to pursue supplemental employment provided they are able to keep up with the responsibilities of our property.

Resident Management Couple for Boutique Hotel - Nantucket, MA

We are looking for a dynamic assistant management couple for our seasonal boutique hotel on Nantucket. Overall, we are a small property with a staff that wears many hats. Though each member of our team has a specific role, we cross train so that everyone is capable of every aspect of running a high-end boutique hotel. One of the positions is for someone with culinary skills who can lead the breakfast service team as well as put out beautiful food that remains within the allowances of a strict Nantucket ordinance. We offer a three course served continental breakfast daily and are really hoping to heighten the creativity and flavors of our offerings. The other position is for a reservationist/night concierge who is great with guests, can sell rooms, and multi-task with ease. The couple will be provided with quarters on the property, and will be the nighttime managers who will address guests' needs as they arise after 10pm each night. This couple will report directly to the general manager. This is a great opportunity for a couple to live and work on Nantucket six months of the year with competitive pay. The job begins May 1st and ends November 1st. It is imperative that you commit to the entire six months.

Caretaker Couple for Farm - Western NC, NC

SUMMARY: Seeking an experienced, strong, energetic, organized, and self-directed couple with a positive attitude to maintain private residence, guesthouse, grounds, equipment, organic farm and animals in Western North Carolina. The position is full time with salary and housing. The couple must have relevant work experience, handyman skills, cooking and household skills, equipment maintenance skills, great communication and interpersonal skills, and be willing to work extended hours, holidays and weekends when the owner is present.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to): Provides security for entire property. Performs all required grounds keeping duties, including tennis courts. Maintain all vehicles including golf carts. Handles preventives maintenance and repair for all facilities. Provides preventive maintenance and repair work for all operating equipment. Maintains the domestic water and sewer systems, water wells, irrigation system. Repairs and paints exteriors as needed. Maintains fences. Operate heavy equipment. Orchestrates special projects as directed by owner. Hauls trash to landfill. Provides house cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping and cooking. Coordinates and assist with family/guest needs when family is present. Manage temporary staff when needed. Organize and manage household inventories and inventories of outbuildings. Provide animal care basics including feeding, cleaning cages and keeping animals healthy. All errands and supply procurement pertaining to the property or guest, including airport pick-ups and delivery. Hires and supervises third party service providers authorized by owner in advance. Picks up the mail. Maintains household budgets and accounting Strong computer skills to include: email, Excel, Word, with the ability to take photos and report weekly activities via email. Communicates and cooperates with family members, their guests, and employees, outside service agents in order to maintain a secure, courteous, and professional environment. Resides in housing provided with immediate family only. Keeps house and yard in clean and orderly condition. Performs other duties as may be assigned.
