Seeking innkeeper for small Sonoma County resort, Russian River - Guerneville, CA

This is a great opportunity for a customer-oriented, creative couple (or individual or family) to manage an established small business with significant growth potential and to develop and implement innovative business ideas to increase your compensation. A full-time manager/innkeeper is needed to run all day-to-day operations for a small vacation resort on two acres in downtown Guerneville. Responsibilities include making reservations, checking-in guests, responding to guests' needs, managing small part-time staff to clean cabins and do repairs, developing promotions and new revenue opportunities for property, overseeing maintenance and improvements, cleaning some cabins, doing laundry as needed, and reporting to owners on finances and property conditions. The resort includes a pool, hot tub, beach, and 12 housekeeping cabins, each with fully-equipped kitchens. The manager typically lives on the property. This resort business has significant seasonal fluctuations, which means that income and workload vary considerably from high season to low season. The manager would be responsible for managing resources and time to deal with these inherent seasonal fluctuations. The normal, routine caretaking responsibilities equate to  about 30-40 hours a week with the majority of hours are spent maintaining the water system.

Live at the End of Minnesota's Gunflint Trail and Outfit Canoe Trips into the Boundary Waters - Gunfllnt Trail, Grand Marais, MN

We’re looking for an ideal couple to work with us at the end of Minnesota’s Gunflint Trail at our Boundary Waters Canoe Area canoe outfitting business.  This couple would be highly self-motivated, goal oriented, hard working, honest, organized and responsible.

One position would involve working and managing the Outfitting operation where equipment is packed, cleaned and repaired for guests.  This person would also orient guests, route them for their trips and manage 3-5 employees. 

The other position is the Office/Reservation Position who would greet guests,  check guests in, answer the phone, take and process reservations as well as manage 1-2 employees.

Both jobs entail long days during the summer with hard work and remote living.  We strive to offer the best customer service around and we insist our employees go the extra mile for our guests. 

Job is seasonal with full time possibility (start in April or May and End in September or October possibly through winter)

Campground Caretaker(s) - Marwayne, AB

Jubilee Regional Park (Lea Park Campground) is in the process of receiving tenders for the Resident Caretaker Contract for the 2014 season.  Living quarters and utlities are provided.  The contract will be from approximately May 1st to mid October, 2014.  Remuneration is in the 3-4 thousand per month depending upon qualifications. Caretaker will have the opportunity to supplement income through sale of ice and sundries.  Duties will include collecton of camping fees and maintainance of grounds and facilities within the campground.  Please forward resume and referances and a contract information package will be forwarded to qualifying applicants.
