Our town is SMALL. The closest Walmart is 47 miles, closest hospital is 17 miles, closest movie theatre 33 miles. This location is geared to guests that love outdoor sports versus shopping, malls and movies. 

We seek a management team with smiles and a “can do” attitude.  A pair of team players willing to work at anything needing attention from painting inside/out, lawn work, minor sewing repairs, window cleaning, caulking, grouting, minor repairs, hot tub maintenance, carpet cleaning, supply runs, housekeeping, laundry, front desk. If anything needs done, you must be willing to cheerfully take care of it.  You need to be great with people, genuinely happy people with smiles and "yes, we can" attitudes, non smokers, no problem drinkers, happy and willing to work at *any* task, must love animals.  Experience has taught us only happy flexible people fit in here and we will, unfortunately, not be able to keep anyone with less than cheerful attitudes coming here to work and live.

Only those able to delegate and work independently will be considered. You must be self starters able to recognize and organize work needing done, then carry out the task efficiently and quickly.  The couple hired will be considered essential personnel and must be very responsible, guest service oriented and willing to go the extra mile when required.  Applicants must be energetic and in excellent health to thrive at this altitude.

Couple Needed to Run Small Franchised Motel and Storage Facility. - Orlando, FL

We are looking for a self motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, experienced couple to manage a 30-room franchised motel and a 200 unit storage facility. You must have excellent customer service skills and excellent computer skills. Responsibilities include, but not limited to online reservations, guest check in/out, front desk service, reservation management, overseeing small housekeeping staff, and some laundry duties. Must be able to speak fluent English. One partner will run the hotel the other the storage facility. Both company's are located on the same property.

This is a live in position.  2 bedroom, 1 bathroom on site house will be provided.

Upper Canada Heritage Farm is looking for a live-in couple to assist in its organic pig operation. Located on 100 acres about 1 hour from Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, our family raises a rare heritage breed called the Large Black Pig. We have succeeded in helping to bring this remarkable breed back from the brink of extinction by developing a thriving market for their meat in the Nation’s Capital. We also sell breeding pairs all over North America.

We need an outstanding couple to live and work on the farm. These are very special animals and they MUST be cared for by a couple that will be completely dedicated to their well-being. You must be solid in your commitment to each other and to the pigs. This is not a job – this is a calling!

You would each spend on average 5-7 hours each day tending the herd. Duties include feeding, watering, bedding, equipment maintenance, electric fencing repairs and building maintenance.

Farming experience (particularly with pigs) rough carpentry and familiarity with tractors and other farm equipment are important assets. You love to work outdoors and are calm and patient with animals – pigs can be very hyper at feeding time so you must be able to deal with it.

We are looking for non-smokers with enthusiasm, honesty, flexibility, a sense of humour, a good work ethic and a positive outlook. We are a loving and generous household and expect the same qualities in the couple we hire.

Depending on the time of year, you will live either in the house or in a 26’ trailer. You have free access to our car and we pay the gas. We have high speed internet. We provide your food – my husband is an amazing cook!

We welcome you to create your own garden, chicken flock, or other agricultural endeavour using our equipment and land.

All living expenses are covered and you receive an additional $200 per week (as a couple).
