Two Part-Time Horse Ranch Hands / Grounds Keepers - Perfect for Friends, Siblings, Parent/Adult Child, Couple - Fallbrook (northwest San Diego County), CA
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Seeking two part-time ranch hands to work 25 hours over 6 days a week on private horse ranch of top professional trainer located in beautiful northwest San Diego County, California only 30 minutes from the ocean. Duties include providing ranch maintenance, repair and upkeep, and horse care, including:
· Fence repair, replacement and painting (wood rail and post; T-post and Wire)
· Run-in shelters and outbuilding repair
· Weed abatement (weed-wacking, manual weeding, manual brush trimming/cutting)
· Rain erosion control (manually filling in eroded areas and holes in driveways & horse pens, keeping drainage ditches clear)
· Trimming tree branches, picking up fallen debris and other landscape care
· Maintenance and repair of water faucets and automatic waterers
· Mucking for up to 10 horses
· Filling and cleaning of water troughs and cleaning of automatic waterers
· Helping with turn-in/out of horses
· Occasionally feeding horses
· Other duties as common and necessary on a horse ranch
Must be clean-cut, detail oriented, drug/alcohol/tobacco-free, fit and healthy self-starter, who is unafraid to ask questions if uncertain about a task and is able to take and follow direction that may be different than how you normally do things. Must have valid drivers license, be able to work in the US legally, have no criminal record, be over 28 years of age, have good English speaking communication skills, be positive and pleasant to be around, take great pride in your work, be able to work alone and complete tasks with an eye toward detail and ensure finished work looks visually appealing. Minimum 3 years, full-time, paid experience in similar ranch and animal care job is required. Good carpentry skills, basic plumbing/irrigation repair skills and ability to perform occasional heavy manual labor (weed abatement, erosion control, installing/replacing fence posts) with hand tools is mandatory. References and background check required. Prefer two friends, siblings, father/son, possibly husband/wife as long as both meet above requirements. Sorry, we are unable to accommodate dogs or children.
Initial compensation is use of large, quiet, private 2 ½ bedroom mobile home (a $1500 a month value) that includes a large living room, large eat-in kitchen, covered deck, carport and secluded back yard with room for garden. Includes all utilities (electric, propane, water). Potential board for 1-2 horses for additional work hours. Because compensation is initially limited to housing, you must have some form of monetary income to meet other basic living expenses or be willing to obtain part-time employment elsewhere. Work hours can be structured to allow for additional part-time work off the ranch. Potential for right persons for stable, long-term, full-time work with the addition of a small stipend after 6 months as our business grows.

We are looking for a 2 person team to fill the role of Assistant Property Managers at a very nice, large MH/RV Community in Tulsa. One person will be inside working in the office. The other will be outside assisting with maintenance. Living on-site is a requirement. Housing is provided as part of the compensation package if you do not own your own MH or RV.
Applicants must be responsible, reliable, friendly, have strong people skills, and work well under the supervision of the current management team. The inside assistant must be good with answering phone calls, working on the computer, processing payments, and other general clerical duties. The outside assistant will be responsible for general maintenance and landscaping of all common areas, the pool, and any other duties or tasks required as directed by the community manager. Duties will also include being on-call every other week and assisting incoming/outgoing RVer's.

Park Operations Assistants - Cantwell/Denali, AK

Duties involve front desk work (guest check-in, reservations, store sales, information), routine cleaning and maintenance, Handyman skills essential. The mission of Sunridge Ranch II is to provide a life-sharing home focusing on living as independently as possible in a safe, caring homelike environment. The care philosophy of Sunridge Ranch II emphasizes encouragement and positive reinforcement with support and respect for each resident. Our care providers are responsible for working with the individuals on day to day operations of the ranch along with overseeing their established daily routines.
$60,000 per couple, private suite, food, utilities and mileage provided along with comprehensive benefit package. Respite is provided one weekend per month.
We are currently looking for respite caregivers, but welcome applications to fill future full-time vacancies.
Qualifications:
•Must meet the requirements for Washington State Development Disabilities Admistration (DDA) Individual Care Providers which includes a current CPR/First Aid card. Employment shall be contingent upon the results of background check.
•Physically and mentally capable of performing the requirements of each residents care plan.
•A high school diploma or equivalent; prior education, training or experience working with developmentally disabled adults will be given preference.
•Ability to recognize natural teaching opportunities and act on them. Ability to handle personal care tasks with sensitivity and caring.
•Must have a high energy level, adaptability, patience, and ability to work in a team environment.

About the Role:
Depending on your area of expertise, the family will coordinate duties to meet your skills set as well as some adhoc duties as required to keep this large home immaculate. Standalone accommodation is provided to allow you to have a work/life balance outside of your normal hours.
Working with other caretakers, your general duties may include:
- Running errands and coordinating children’s daily activities including driving to and from school, sporting or academic commitments, etc
- Preparing basic food and snacks throughout the day as requested
- Grounds maintenance including minor mechanical or electrical repairs, gardening , washing cars, pool cleaning etc
- General housekeeping – cleaning, laundry duties, coordinating repair and maintenance workers for larger jobs
- Liaising with exclusive clientele in a professional and courteous manner
- Assisting with family pets including washing and walking the dog
To be successful you and your partner must:
- Hold a full valid Victorian driver’s licence (no restrictions)
- Be able to successfully obtain working with children checks
- Successfully meet all pre-employment criteria including passing a criminal history check and medical check
- Experience in a similar role (highly desired)
- Be able to provide appropriate work and personal references
