Caretaker & Housekeeper/Cook Couple wanted for Burlington, VT area estate

Our family is seeking a live-in couple to assist in the care of our mother & her historic home. We are looking for an honest, reliable, hardworking & mature couple.

Preferred Caretaker skills: gardening and landscaping experience. Familiarity with snow removal & lawn & garden maintenance equipment is necessary. Ability to perform normal house maintenance and oversee major repair projects.

Preferred Housekeeper/Cook skills:  Ability to maintain a large house, used primarily by an older woman, year round. Responsible for general indoor cleaning and care of fine furniture, as well as laundry and making beds. Good cooking skills, with flexibility in timing and menu. Grocery & other shopping as needed.

Benefits: The couple will have their own guest house, equipped with cable TV & WI-FI. All utilities will be paid by the estate. Generous salary and benefit package which includes healthcare insurance, 2 weeks paid vacation, and 2 days off each week.

We would like a couple who is prepared to enter into a long-term commitment. We will require impeccable references, relevant experience and the ability to pass a criminal background check. Good driving skills required.
