Victorian B&B Couple Desired Management/Turnovers - Chicago, IL

This position is for a couple to manage/run an 8 room BnB (11 once the coach house is completed) in Chicago, The property is an Richardsonian Romanesque Victorian, it has been updated in many areas, but of course is always in need of something. Specific responsibilies will include: *Daily Turnover/Cleanings for checkin/checkout of guests *Responding to guest questions and concerns *Maintenance of the grounds *(it's a city home, this is manageable with a few hours throughout the week) *Maintaining/Cleaning the common areas as needed *Managing supplies/inventories, reorders, etc .

The house is on the west side of Chicago, it's not what one would consider a "luxurious" area, but it's vastly improved in the last five years, this fall a $30M incubator complex is going up about a block away which should improve the street situation dramatically. The house has 4 living floors, so being comfortable with stairs is a must. A majority of the bookings are from online, however after being in business for over a year I'm starting to see many repeat guests who seek us out on their trips to Chicago. The house is about 15 minutes from downtown Chicago, and sits about a block from the Kedzie green line station. For accommodations I have renovated the servants quarters with a private bath, sitting area, bedroom, and sauna room as an option. I will accept both live-in/out candidates, but live-in is preferred as a result of the many 'little' things that come up, such as helping with a guests luggage or showing them to their room. The perfect couple would be one that would be happy to split up some of the outdoor/maintenance work and interior work. If someone is familiar with painting and general construction, I have plenty of work there as well as I'm still in the process of renovating the coach house. Job Description

The House Coordinator Couple (HCC) plays a pivotal role of rebuilding the concept of trust, safety and stable relationships for the women who enter our Project Restore program. We are looking for a full time missionary minded couple to run the weekly program. We follow a 5/2- 5/1 schedule. (Weekends off every other week and Saturdays of the weekends between. We also offer a once a week date night where the HCC is off duty for 3 hours in that evening.

Our program encompasses life skills, job training, trauma informed Christian counseling, horse therapy, biblical teaching and much much more. While we partner with various professionals to get these services to our residents, the HCC play a pivotal role in ensuring the residents successfully follow the program.

We are looking for a strong, biblically sound couple with no dependent children or pets. Our ideal couple has been married for 10  plus years, has a true relationship with Jesus Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit and has significant experience in outreach ministry together.

We expect the female house-coordinator to run the majority of the program (case management , mentoring and teaching) with the women. The husband may work outside the home, but is expected to demonstrate exceptional Godly character and set an example for what female/male interaction should look like while in the home.
