Family owned wheat and cattle ranch seeks couple to team the ranch life, running the cattle and haying side of this vigorous operation. The positions are minimally supervised. We are looking for trustworthy, motivated, efficient, organized, mechanical, healthy, rugged, and willing learners for long term.
She keeps records, cleans, mows, prunes, sprays, paints with pride in the ranch homestead. May also assist irrigation, feeding, calving, stock gathering and sorting.
He is a self-starter in irrigated round bale alfalfa production, savvy in range cow-calf herdsmanship, mechanical skill set to independently keep the associated equipment running and capacity to care and upgrade infrastructure: house, yards, buildings, fences, and stock facilities. Tools for general repairs not required but preferred.
$40 - $50K annual salary, commensurate with capacity and increasing with demonstrated manager calibre. Nice ranch central house provided. 3 BR; 2 Bath. Excellent small school and community opportunities for family.

We are a small Resort located in the mountains, surrounded by forest on Shasta Lake in Northern California and are seeking an on-site management /care taking couple for the Winter Off-Season and Summer On-Season. Looking for a responsible, friendly, mature yet motivated individual/couple.

2017 WINTER OFF-SEASON: Sept. 15th to April 31st
We are looking for a live-in caretaker or couple for our small resort during the off season (September through April) located on the Sacramento Arm of Shasta Lake. (Lakehead area).
Duties include but not limited to:
- Monitoring and security of property / cabins.
- Lawn and property maintenance (mowing, weed whipping, weeding, watering)
- Monitoring water / well system
- Handyman skills
- Other occasional duties (will provide details upon inquiries)
COMPENSATION:
The caretaker / or couple will be provided Lodging / Utilities on-site as compensation during the WINTER OFF-SEASON. The Caretaker may use their privately-owned RV on one of our full hook-up RV Site OR in a two-bedroom cabin (furnished or unfurnished) which has a kitchen and full bathroom, also is cable TV and wireless internet ready. Laundry facility on property. Included is ~ electric, propane, water, onsite laundry and internet service.
The candidates would be fluent in English and a "hands on" duo with complementary skills to reside on property.
2018 SUMMER SEASON: May 1st to September 15th
- The ideal candidate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reservations management, cabin cleaning scheduling, laundry room upkeep/ washing of mattress covers/kitchen towels / bath rugs for each cabin upon guest departure.
- Customer service
- On site security
- Human relations with current, potential and return guests
- Water / well monitoring
- Knowledge of booking reservations and taking payments
- Pool maintenance and chemical logging, maintenance and upkeep of the facilities, managing of cleanliness both internal and external of common areas and grounds, etc.
- Communication with Management/Owner.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and requests.
COMPENSATION:
Caretaker will reside on the resort in their privately-owned RV on one of our full hook-up RV Site OR in a two-bedroom cabin (furnished or unfurnished) which has a kitchen and full bathroom, also is cable TV and wireless internet ready. - Caretaker will receive a bonus at the end of the Summer Season.

Job Requirements
Must be good with children (9 month old). While there is a full time nanny. Occasional chid care may be needed in emergencies.
Must be good with dogs.
Formal service and serving is rare, but needed on occasion.
General Description: Full-time position working for a woman with her own business and her partner in their 4700 square foot Inlet home. They have 1 nine month old child that has full time nanny care. Work requires them to travel frequently and regularly; house and pet sitting required. Assist with packing and unpacking, valet services and air port shuttles. Keep home in excellent condition, maintain the decks and pool. Detailed cleaning and above average cooking with excellent presentation required. Keep home beautiful with fresh flowers and the extra little touches. Full housekeeping, laundry and ironing needed. Employer runs a formal home but lives informally. Manage all vendors and service providers needed in home holding them accountable and following up on their work. Run errands, manage inventory and track all dry cleaning. Keep calendars up to date; write a maintenance schedule for the home, pool, decks, and small condo in NC. Assist with personal shopping as needed and assist with entertaining. Care for two small dogs with love and care; feed, water and exercise.
Housekeeping: Keep home clean, neat and organized daily, clean entire home on a rotating basis to maintain all areas of the home. Clean areas of the home thoroughly after guest or family visits having it ready for occupancy at all time. Laundry and ironing. Track dry cleaning, wardrobe care, organize closets, assist with packing, storing clothes seasonally.
Cooking: Chef or High level cooking required. Prepare breakfast 8:30-9:00am – prepare lunch for employers to take to office with them or deliver it at 1:00pm. Set table and prepare dinner; if meal requires final cooking make sure everything is prepped with clear communication. Stock and keep fresh food & drinks available. Assist with entertaining working with employer on menu (serving, bartending, valet); casual dinner parties EOW, one to two formal event a year, assist when entertaining clients, coordinate with caterers and support staff when needed.
Grounds keeping: Supervise and manage landscape and pool staff. Water and maintain containers and flowers, raised vegetable bed. Deck maintenance, keep the deck clean and free of debris at all times, set-up outdoor furniture and keep clean through the season. Preventative maintenance on the home and property. Keep boat, skidoos and dock clean and ready for use. Vehicle upkeep and cleaning, keeping maintenance records and filled with gas.
Requirements: Looking for a proactive couple who have excellent time management abilities. Couple must work well as a team but also independently. Experienced private service professionals with a willingness to adapt with the growing needs of a family.
