The Storage Management Couple position requires that the couple live onsite and oversee all aspects of storage transactions, rentals, record-keeping, customer service and provide mentoring opportunities with Team Members.

Under the direction of the Marketing Company President (MCP), responsible for all aspects of storage transactions, truck, trailer and SRI rentals, sales, customer assistance, record-keeping, collections, and security at U-Haul storage centers. Effectively and economically manage storage rentals to ensure occupancy is maximized and delinquency is maintained at or below the 5% standard. Ensure storage area and rooms are clean, dry and secure at all times. Perform rental worthy inspection of U-Haul trucks, trailers, car-top carriers, tow bars, hitches, storage rooms and GRI. Ensure that all equipment dispatched is "fit for intended use" and "customer ready" and that the customer returns the equipment in the same condition (allowing for normal wear and tear). Open and close facility according to established procedures. Maintain storage records, etc. on-line using available computerized systems at the storage location. Comply with U-Haul objectives, policies, programs and procedures. Delegate responsibility and assign tasks daily. May hire, motivate, train, evaluate subordinate work performance, set work schedules, and administer discipline up to and including termination. Caretaking couple for rural NC farm in Coastal Plains - Pender County, NC

Caretaking couple needed on historic family property in Southeastern NC beginning January 15, 2018. This is a long-term position. Rural farm and woodlands, large house, guesthouse, and multiple outbuildings in a fairly isolated setting. Duties include mowing, tree and brush work, some gardening, security, exterior and interior building maintenance, consistent & comprehensive communication with owners, light housekeeping for infrequent family visitors.

Possible use of plot for organic fruit and vegetable gardening, if desired. Prefer someone who can keep an eye on adjacent family owned woodlands, also.

Guesthouse living quarters for you (980 sq ft) available, either furnished or unfurnished, includes TV Satellite dish, utilities, laundry, appliances. No dogs. No indoor pets. No smoking. In addition to rent-free living receive a small salary dependent on experience. Workload is about 650 hours per year/or about 12 hours per week.

Location: Franz Josef Region: South Westland, Glacier Country Experience: Motel manager couple or extended family wanted for busy motel in tourist village of Franz Josef. The complex is spacious and expanding for the coming season with six brand new units opening in December. Managers will work rostered days to ensure regular breaks. We are also looking for permanent part time workers to share the workload for a busy season ahead.

This opportunity could suit a large family with a substantial staff house on site overlooking beautiful countryside and mountain ranges. 12 month contract with ability to extend.

Duties include • Full daily running of busy motel, check ins, check outs, attending to guest needs, emails, cash handling, till balance, stocktake, oversee cleaning including rosters. • Assisting cleaners as required. • Ensuring the business has all necessary stock for operations. • You will be confident in dealing with any emergencies that arise. • On site health and safety management ensuring all staff and guests are cared for. • Weekly and monthly reporting to owners. • Selling services and experiences to all guests. • Caretaker duties including mowing lawns and weeding gardens. Skills required • Customer service experience preferably in hospitality. • Ability to consistently deliver high service standards across the business. • Staff management experience. • Basic practical skills to repair and maintain rooms and equipment. • You must be passionate about looking after your guests.
