On Site Property Manager Couple - Logan, OH

Will be living initially on site in a beautiful cottage that is only 1 year old. You will work to renovate a old house into a place that is customized to your liking.    Complete with all furnishings.  You will be maintaining 11 cabins that are being rented as vacation rentals.  We do rent all year but are really only busy from May 24th to Oct. 31.  The rest of the year the cabins only rent on the weekends if that.  From time to time you will need to go out to the cabins when guests have problems with hot tubs working or something else.  You do not have to know how to fix hot tubs but it would be helpful for you to learn over time.  You should have basic carpentry. Must be able to take directions and be self-starter. Relate professionally with guests. vendors and other employees.  Would be great if one of you knew quickbooks but if you are willing to learn that is fine.  Any web site or facebook experience is helpful.

Have driver's license, car and insurance for Ohio.  Must have a clean record for the last 5 years or be able to explain anything negative on your background check.

You will be living in a very picturesque setting out in the country, just a short walk to a large pond.  You will be in charge of keeping up the grounds, by mowing and making sure the grounds look nice by picking up trash as needed.  There is also a pool on site that has to be maintained as well, we allow guests to swim in the pond or the pool.  The pond has to be maintained so that not too much algae grows in it.  There is a cleaning crew that you will be in charge of.  The position is for one person to go out and check to make sure the cabins are guest ready before the guest arrive,  you will need to clean sometimes as needed and the other person will do small repairs and handle any issues that arise when guests are at the cabin.  Most guests stay 2-4 days.  You do not have to have any prior experience other than general carpentry and a willness to learn.

As part of your package you get housing, utilities, internet and Direct TV and a negotiable monthly salary.  This position is never ending so please be intending to stay on for at least 2 years.  Retirees of sound mind and body are welcome.

Managing Couple Wanted for Small Mobile Home Community - Tacoma, WA

A part-time managing couple is being sought for a small, neighborhood manufactured home community in Tacoma, WA.

In exchange for managerial duties, $1000 cash and a well-maintained, 1400sqft, 2bed/2bath/office mobile home will be provided (rental value of $1000/month). Retirement and medical coverage are not included. Commissions are possible. Position is ideal for a retired couple or couple working from home.

Applicants would have good people & organizational skills; be computer, email, and Microsoft software literate; be in adequate health to maintain landscaping; be capable of addressing routine maintenance/minor repairs; and be responsible for arranging/overseeing service vendors. A truck is handy. One, well-mannered pet - 25lbs or under - is welcome.

The position is, on average, 20 hours/week -- i.e. busier in the summer growing season and at the beginning of each month to post rent and issue invoices. Requires 2 set office hours per week, however a strong on-site presence is achieved by living in the community, walking the park daily, and use of a cell phone to respond to calls, emails, texts, etc. With monthly payment and housing value, the compensation averages out to about $25/hr. Bonuses based upon occupancy are available.
