Position Summary:

The relief home parent couple provides direct care services for the children in placement at Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide 24-hour, 7-day-a-week coverage for children placed in a foster group home for extended periods of time.
• Within the assigned residence, establish and perpetuate a homelike environment which includes both behavioral and emotional warmth and acceptance.
• Insure the physical safety and well being of children in agency care and promote their spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and social growth and development.
• Supervise daily living habits of children, training new skills as necessary or desirable.
• Assign, train, and supervise children in household tasks.
• Supervise children in various activities both on and off the Itasca campus, in cooperation with other staff members, assist in chaperoning or sponsoring off-campus activities.
• Plan and supervise preparation of meals served in the residence.
• Participate actively in case planning and service implementation for each child living in the assigned area.
• Maintain daily behavior logs, agency reports, medication documentation, financial records, and reports, and menus of meals served.
• Provide transportation for children to and from planned activities using agency vehicles, including passenger cars and 15 passenger vans.
• Work cooperatively with other staff; participate in campus programs and committees as assigned.
• Schedule is 15 days on duty and six days off.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum education - high school graduate, one or more years post high school education preferred.
• Two years previous experience with children preferred.

Job Requirements:

• Good organizational and time management skills required.
• Must have strong interpersonal and parenting skills.
• Must be computer literate and able to operate financial, word processing, and database software within six months of hire.

We are a nationwide hotel cleaning company. Fibercare Hotel Cleaning Services. Our couples crew travel together and clean carpets, tile, drapes furniture and air conditioning units in hotels nationwide. After a separate 2-6 week training period you would join you mate and be on the road together. You would stay at the hotels that you service and would be required to be on the road for 3-4 months at a time. Each tour is followed by a 7-10 break and then another trip out for 3-4 months. Can no bring animals or kids on the road with you. Technicians can expect and average bi-weekly check of $1100 CSR can expect a bi weekly check of $980 Both positions also get $22.50 food allowance daily. Benefits include Medical, Dental, 401K paid vacation and road warrior bonus. this is a very physically demanding job. You must be able to lift 50-75 lbs every 15 min when we are servicing air conditioners.
