REQUIREMENTS:

Tasks include mowing lawns in common areas; trimming trees and shrubs; contacting the appropriate contractor in the event of an emergency; overseeing all aspects of the community. Being able to prioritize work and budget for the community needs is essential. Applicants must apply as a team and live on-site in management provided home. Computer & maintenance skills are required. We offer excellent compensation & possible advancement opportunities. Our client has need for a full time Domestic Couple to live on site and cover all general maintenance and service to the home (approx. 8k ft. main house) and surrounding grounds.
Duties include all basic house cleaning, ironing, laundry, shopping and light cooking, assisting with employer's personal needs, and general upkeep and maintenance for the house and surrounding grounds. Candidates should be very healthy and able to work on all property related tasks over the long term.
Ideally the wife would be taking care of the housekeeping and cooking and the husband would be doing butler and driver responsibilities.
Our client has a need for a full time Domestic Couple to live on site and cover all general maintenance and service to the home (approx. 10,000 sq. ft.) and surrounding grounds. The location is in Washington, DC.
Job Requirements:
- At lease 4 years related experience each working in a private estate
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience caring for fine art and antiques, fine garments and linens, and silver and brass
- Excellent references from both current and previous employers
- Strong culinary skills; ability to prepare meals and serve events and dinners as needed
- Working knowledge of all areas of property maintenance; initiative in tackling home projects hands-on
- Flexible scheduling with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Legally able to work in the United States
Duties Include:
Ideally the tasks would be split up between Driver/Butler tasks and Cooking/Housekeeping tasks
- Assisting with employer's personal needs, and general upkeep and maintenance for the house and surrounding grounds
- Candidates should be very healthy and able to work on all property related tasks over the long term
- Liaising with and overseeing vendors and contractors
- Provide hands-on housekeeping including all aspects of general and deep cleaning: laundry and ironing, cleaning of kitchen, bath, and living areas, organization of closets, pantries, etc., care for art, antiques, and fine furniture, etc.
- Maintain home for guest readiness at all times
- Planning fresh and healthy menus, preparing and serving daily meals as well as parties and events
- Driving family to appointments and engagements
- General handyman services and facilities / home maintenance tasks
- Maintaining household inventories; supply procurement including grocery shopping
- Maintaining complete indoor and outdoor appearance of the home
- Handling special requests and related duties as needed
This is a salaried position with paid housing on-site and candidates would be eligible for a discretionary end of year bonus.
Cabin Resort Housekeeping/Front Desk - near Steamboat Springs, CO
