Innkeepers - Steinhatchee, FL

Seeking full time Innkeeper/housekeeper immediately.  Looking for an energetic, motivated couple to live on site of a 17 suite Inn located in Steinhatchee FL.  

Must be honest and trustworthy.  Must be non-smoker and non-alcoholic.  Job responsibilities include (but not limited to) managing front desk, taking reservations, guest interaction, housekeeping, laundry, purchasing supplies, pool maintenance and supervising housekeeping staff.  Five day work week, answer phones and register guests after hours.  Computer experience essential.  Compensation includes salary plus free apartment and utilities.  Apartment will not accommodate children.  Small pet OK. 

Farm Caretakers/Handypeople - SW corner of Mo, near Branson, MO

     Seeking responsible mature caretakers/handypeople for a large rural farm in SW Missouri 20 miles from Branson.   Requires basic maintenance of three homes, 1 mile of gravel road, mowing 10 acres in summer, limited tree pruning,fence repair, and some driving.

Children and cats are not appropriate in this environment.   We require 10 hours of work per week in exchange for a 1 bedroom ,1 bath home with screened porch and carport and basic utilities.  Beautiful location on a scenic river.   Hunting will be allowed.  Plenty of time for a second job. Self Storage Manager - Greeley, CO

 Are you a couple with maintenance and office skills?  Are you comfortable making collection calls?  Do you interact easily with others?  Are you computer literate?  Can you follow instructions and work without supervision?  If you answered yes to these questions, you might be who we are looking for to operate one of our self storage facilities.

This is a 365 day a year,  24 hour a day job requiring one-and-one-half persons to handle this position and maintain sanity with two people living on-site and the ability to multi-task.  Salary is $1,500 per month, paid on the first and fifteenth.

This job requires you know what the word “proprietorship” means, and to put it into practice every day.

The office hours are 9 – 1 and 2 – 5 Monday thru Friday and 9 – 1 on Saturdays.  The office is closed on Sundays and banking/Postal Holidays.  The office MUST be attended during office hours, except in real emergencies.

Benefits include a one bedroom apartment, a two week paid vacation after one year, wireless internet and a storage unit for your extras.  One person may have outside employment.  Two Saturdays per month off.

One small pet may be considered.

Must be able to do unit preparation for rent, which may include moving heavy items left behind, clean-up and general maintenance. 

Must be computer literate, manage and be responsible for the integrity of the accounting system and its relationship to each and every unit and manage timely reports, deposits and office activities.

Must be capable of occasionally making some wise and important decisions, sometimes under pressure.

Must be a self starter and confident, not afraid to ask if not crystal clear on what is to be done.

Must be comfortable interacting with people and maintaining composure, often in uncomfortable situations.  That means you must be able to handle collections, an important and necessary part of the job.

Ability to speak Spanish helpful but not required.

The very minimum that must happen every day of the year:

·         Gates open at 6:00 am and close at 8:00 pm.

·         Maintain office hours.

·         Provide security and awareness of activities around the facility at all time.  This includes such things as walking the lanes, checking locks, latches and activities.

Motel Manager(s) - Superior, AZ

Full-time, long term Resident Property Managers at our motel.  This couple needs to have skills to complete the following responsibilities: housekeeping, maintenance, marketing, basic bookeeping, online reservation system, guest services.

This position is year round and requires hard work, long hours, and has only 16 rooms, some times motel will be full, summer will be low occupancy. However, if it's the right fit, managers will appreciate all the upsides including: living on the one bed property , interacting and providing positive experience for guests, managing your own schedule.
