Position requires customer service, taking reservations, and renting guest rooms. The manager is the main person dealing with customers. There is a housekeeping staff that you direct and supervise. There is a maintenance staff that is available to you for maintenance issues. We are looking for someone who can live onsite. We are asking for a couple in the position. The position doesn't actually require two people, but it just makes it easier when you have a couple in the position. We are not actually looking for more maintenance staff, but if that will make the job more beneficial for you, we can discuss your qualifications and go from there.
All ages welcome, including senior citizens. Related work experience in customer service, and business management or marketing is preferred. We offer a competitive salary + nice housing with all expenses paid. In addition, we offer a flexible paid vacation of two full weeks each year. Our Campground is a new campground located riverside next to our rafting outpost and just 45 minutes from Gatlinburg. The campground opened Spring 2015 and offers six camping cabins, 20 tent sites, 12 RV sites (water, electric, septic), pool, pavilion, riverside takeout, internet, laundry, store/office, and bathhouse. We are currently seeking an energetic and fun-loving workcamper couple to join our team for the 2016 season to assist in running the campground. Workcamper agreements run from April 1st to October 31st. We are ideally looking to develop a long-term relationship with our work campers, in which they return for many seasons and eventually take on management responsibilities. Duties include office hours, housekeeping, and light maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Managing the campground on Sunday and Monday including running the store/office, cleaning, and maintenance. Additionally, workcamper couples handle after-hour emergencies and are available for after-hour check-ins during the rest of the week.

We are a small remote Resort located in the mountains, surrounded by forest on Shasta Lake in Northern California and are seeking an on-site Camp host couple for the 2016 season. Looking for a responsible, friendly, mature motivated couple.
Wildlife and nature surround the resort in a peaceful and quiet setting. This is a place where you can feel a sense of pride and accomplishment as you provide hosting for the guests. We have families that return to stay with us, and in addition, we are continuing to build our guest list. As a result, we want to continue to meet and exceed the expectations of cleanliness and service.
As we are located in a remote location, the perfect couple should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be comfortable in this type of setting. This is perfect for those who are looking for an opportunity, perhaps be slowing life down, and yet, still have drive and energy to provide the resort guests with customer service.
Our “Resort Season” begins the Thursday prior to Memorial Day and goes through Labor Day.
The Camp Host’ would be available through the day and evening hours for guests needs and to greet the arrival of guests / potential guests; checking guests in and out; showing the resort property and amenities and attending to additional requests.
There is an off-site Management couple that will work with the Camp Hosts, spending time during some of the day hours and occasional overnight / evening stays. This will give the Host' an opportunity to spend time off property while the management is on site. There will also be occasional times that the couple are able to coordinate swapping time away with the Management in which each couple will be able to step in to watch over the resort .
The ideal candidates shall have experience in a similar setting; have the energy to maintain the resort on a daily basis; be available to guests needs, and be able to endure the climate changes and conditions in the Lake Shasta area.
The ideal candidates responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Reservations management
· Customer service
· Overnight on site security
· Human relations with current, potential and return guests
· Knowledge of booking reservations and taking payments
· Occasionally, Pool maintenance
· Light maintenance and upkeep of the facilities, managing of cleanliness both internal and external of common areas, pool area and grounds.
· Helping guests with boat trailer parking at the resort
· Communication with Management
· Ability to troubleshoot issues and requests
· Camp hosts must set an example by being model campers who practice good housekeeping at all times in and around their campsite
· We provide to the host’ an RV space - full hookup, free laundry, propane, Ice and firewood for the season.
The candidates would be fluent in English and a "hands on" duo with complementary skills to reside on property * in their privately owned RV, on one of our full hook up RV Sites
Host’ will demonstrate a passion for hospitality, be reliable and dependable, business appropriate and personable to interact with guests. Honest and good natured, provide attention to creating a pleasing and clean atmosphere, and the ability to relate to diverse guests
