FEATURED JOB OPENING: Caretaker Couple Wanted for VT Farm Property - Stowe, VT

Seeking an experienced, strong, energetic, organized, and self-directed couple with a positive attitude. This couple will maintain private residence, outbuildings, grounds, equipment, and animals in picturesque Stowe,Vermont on 30-acre farm property. The positions are full-time with salary and housing. Couple must have sheepfarming experience, handyman skills, cooking and household skills, equipment operating and property maintenance skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, basic accounting skills, time management and organizational skills, and be willing to work extended hours when needed.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to): Property Maintenance *Provide security for entire property, *Perform all required grounds keeping duties, including mowing and edging, light tree trimming, *Maintain all garden areas, including weeding, mulching, spring and fall clean-up, *Maintain all vehicles including cars, trucks, tractor, Gator, and snow mobiles, *Handle preventive maintenance, and repair on all buildings, *Handle preventive maintenance and repair work for all operating equipment, *Maintain the domestic water and sewer systems, and water wells. *Keep building exteriors clean; repair and paint building exteriors as needed, *Change out and clean window and door screens seasonally, *Maintain fences and gates, *Operate all equipment, *Keep property and equipment organized and clutter-free, including yard debris from storms, *Supervise and manage special improvement projects as directed by owner. Housekeeping *Provide daily house cleaning as needed during school year, *Laundry duties, including ironing as needed, *Grocery shopping and lunch prep, *Cooking dinner generally 4 - 5 nights/week during school year, *Organize, manage and restock household inventories. Animals * Provide animal care for all farm animals, and occasionally house animals, *Feed farm animals, including sheep, donkeys, geese and chickens, *Cleaning barn and coop as needed, frequently during cold-weather seasons, *Administer vaccinations, and keep good records of same, *Manage lambing season, *Arrange for sheering, processing and/or sale of wool, *Arrange for harvesting, storage and sale of lamb meat, *Arrange for delivery and storage of hay each season, *Purchase and restock as needed all other animal food including grain for sheep,donkeys,chickens, *Maintain farm budget, and accounting of same.

We are looking to employ long-term employees with strong ETHICS & INTEGRITY, as well as company loyalty and a great attitude. This position provides a wonderful manager's home, including paid utilities, generous home sales bonuses, gas allowance and a health insurance reimbursement program. This Mobile Home Community allows pets upon approval.
REQUIREMENTS:
Work hours are M-F, 10am-4pm with a 30 minute lunch break and weekends off (except for occasional appointments, open houses, and possible emergencies). Individuals must possess an attitude of self-motivation.
We offer excellent compensation & possible advancement opportunities. Candidates must pass a background and credit check, but perfect credit is not required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Computer skills required (Microsoft office)
