Maintenance Engineer:
- Ensures proper installation, repair and maintenance of all equipment and plumbing.
- Ensures maintenance and repair of all finished surfaces in the hotel.
- Assists with installation and maintenance of air conditioning units, systems and HVAC operations.
- Reviews all outside contract services for departmental responsibilities with the hotel's General Manager.
- Maintains secure storage and complies with good safety practices.
- Maintains the key and lock system in the hotel.
- Reviews all supply purchases with the General Manager.
- Maintains minimum inventory of supplies and parts as needed.
- Maintains all lighting, interior and exterior.
- Maintains the exterior appearance of the property.
- Maintains and controls all tools owned by the hotel.
- Assists with the loading and unloading of supplies weighing over 40 pounds.
- Additional duties may be added as needed.
Guest Services/House Attendant
- Enters work place at scheduled time in uniform ready to begin work. Properly clocks in.
- Ensures prescribed amount of cash is on hand by counting and recording count.
- Ensure telephone service meets company standards. Telephone answered within three rings, using proper script. Transfer calls properly, perform wake up calls, take message politely and never give out a room number.
- Properly check in and out guests.
- Properly handle reservations.
- Ensure property management computer procedures are correctly implemented.
- Properly answer guests questions for directions or other needs.
- Assist with laundry needing completion. Fold linen, dry linen and wash linen as needed.
- Assist with cleanliness of lobby, corridors and elevator.
- Additional duties may be added as needed.
- Assist the Laundry Attendant in his/her duties.
- Removes dirty linen from Room attendants’ carts and replaces with clean line.
- Stock all storage rooms with supplies.
- Cleans guest rooms when assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
- Performs other task as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager(vacuuming corridors, cleaning public areas, employee restrooms, washing windows, checking rooms, etc.)
- Maintains security for guests and property by following all security and safety regulations (i.e. cleans work area, removes all linen from dryers, turns off dryers at the end of the day, doesn’t smoke while on duty, etc.)
