General Manager Couple - Ennis, MT

We are seeking a couple to be the general manager for our 26 room property.  Our hotel is family run and has a strong passion for having a hotel that can be proud of how clean our rooms are.  This is our first and foremost goal and everyone that joins our team is aware of this goal every day. We are located in the heart of Madision Valley in Ennis Montana.  We are an hour away from Yellowstone National Park and 15 minutes away from the historic Virginia City.  Thousands of visitors come through our door to become a part of all there is to see in this little town. Many fishermen and hunters, as well as hikers and tourists find their way and love the little town that we have grown to love.  The right applicant will have experience with this kind of work, which includes all the ins and outs of housekeeping, laundry, and reservation systems.  

Qualifications:

- At least one year of management experience in hospitality

-Strong customer service skills

-Good working knowledge of the hotel business

-Ability to lead a team to achieve a common goal

-An eye for seeing the details that need to be addressed

-The ability to delegate work to staff or resolve issues on your own

- Ability to do light maintenance around the property

-Groundskeeping/snow removal when needed

- Good working knowledge of computers and software

Duties:

-Over see day to day operations

-create schedule for employee shifts

-hire, train, reprimand and release employees

-fix or troubleshoot issues with property and delegate to appropriate person

-post on social media about the hotel
