Helping Hands Program - Mount Rushmore, SD

Spend the Fall working at Mt. Rushmore as part of our Helping Hands program, a part-time opportunity running from August-October 2023.

Dates: August - October 31st, 2023
Schedule: Part-time, 24-30 hours/week
Wage: $12.55-$13.20/hour

• Housing: Limited RV sites available. RVs must be self-contained - interior working kitchen and bathroom (toilet/shower). Must be in overall good condition and newer than 1980. There are NO kitchen or bathroom facilities at the RV park. Can support 30 and 50 amps. Limited RV sites are available in Keystone, SD for $70/week. Two employees desired for each RV.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Your job will be whatever is needed for the day. Training will occur for each position. Each day may be different so flexibility is key! Some of the duties you may assist with include:  

• Food and Beverage Attendant ($12.55/hour): Assist in keeping the dining room area clean and sanitized, operate cash register and assist customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner.
• Retail ($12.80/hour): Assist customers in a courteous manner, stock, and operate cash register
• Parking ($13.20/hour): Assist with guest parking, lots of walking required!
