Job Description:
The General Manager must be detail-oriented, organized, and excel at leading and motivating a team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and in control. The position reports directly to the Owners and will work in conjunction with the Operations and Maintenance Managers as well as the remaining staff and suppliers to ensure a high-quality product and experience for all our guests.
Responsibilities:
Event Sales: Event Sales is an essential part of this role. Must be outgoing and very comfortable working with potential clients.
- Solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business through outside sales calls, social media, email/phone inquiries, networking, and attending regional events/shows, tours, and open house events.
- Develop and manage the company’s overall sales and marketing plans that promote our property to our targeted clients.
- Prepare event & lodging quotes and contracts.
- Ensure the accuracy and supply of all company literature and promotional materials.
- Represent our property within the community and industry. Attending and/or hosting events, vendor relationships, etc..
