Domestic Couple - Lancaster, PA

Our client is an active, homeschooling family, living on a beautiful private horse farm in Lancaster County, PA.  They are looking to hire a Domestic Couple (Property Caretaker and Nanny/Housekeeper) They have gardens and other farm animals, and the children spend a lot of time outdoors, and around the farm. They are a family of 8, with children aging 9yr girl, 7yr boy, 6yr girl, 3 yr girl, 2 yr boy, and 9M girl. The children play instruments using the suzuki method, are currently involved in swimming and taekwondo, and we are active in our church congregation. They strive to set a loving and stable environment for our family to learn and grow. 

Nanny/Housekeeper 
Job description
Nanny/Housekeeper to assist the mother with the care of the children and in general aspects of the home. Other aspects would include some housekeeping duties such as laundry, basic cleaning, and preparing meals. The care of the children would include supervising and assisting with schoolwork and chores for example when the mother is out with others for lessons or appointments/errands. Experience with and comfort helping young children is a must.

Farm/Property Manager 
Maintain and develop organic landscaping
Helping the family with organic and/or permaculture gardening 
Maintaining good working condition and further development of the farming and domestic structures using quality carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills, including experience in supervising hired-services when needed.

Maintaining permanent fence systems, moving rotational electric and other fencing.
Maintaining livestock food & watering systems
Maintaining farm equipment and vehicles 
Help with the management of the farm animals, pastures, and harvesting hay
