Part Time Campground Host/Worker - Gauley Bridge, WV

We are a Family Owned, Pet Friendly Campground located on the banks of the New River in Gauley Bridge WV. We are open year round and have 39 RV sites with Full Hook Ups as well as well as 9 primitive tent sites. We are looking for single or couple to work as Part Time Campground Host/Worker. Couples are expected to provide a combined total of 30 hours per week and singles, a total of 30 hours per week, work week is considered Monday through Sunday. Flexible hours/days with the exception of Friday and Saturday (required work days)

Job Requirements:

• Must have a Self Contained Travel Trailer, 5^th Wheel or Motorhome (max 30 amp)
• Must be friendly, respectful and present a positive attitude for campers as well as co-workers
• Must be capable of following direction; be proactive and able to lift at least 30 lbs unassisted
• Must be TEAM ORIENTED
• Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic computer skills including data entry in the Camp Reservation system

Job Duties: Items shown as well as any additional duties assigned

• Grounds and Campsite maintenance/upkeep
• Bathhouse and Laundry room upkeep
• Trash/debris Collection
• Campfire wood delivery
• Mowing/Weeding as needed
• Building/structure maintenance
• Minor repair projects and equipment upkeep
• Work in Office/Store as needed (answer phones, return calls, taking reservations, checking camper in and assisting them to their campsite, bait/tackle sales as well as other camping accessories
• Report your hours weekly to the Owner/Supervisor
