FEATURED JOB OPENING: Adirondacks private club Superintendent and Clubhouse Manager (2 positions) - Newcomb, NY

The Tahawus Club, a private year-round recreational club in Newcomb NY is looking for 2 outgoing people to manage our facilities, which include about 6,000 acres of owned and leased lands on 3 campuses, a central clubhouse with 11 guest bedrooms , commercial kitchen and dining room, and 17 privately owned cottages.  Ideal for a couple with significant property management experience, including field mowing, plowing, trail maintenance, tractor/backhoe maintenance and operation, boat care, and housekeeping/culinary skills.  The Superintendent and Manager will work with the Club’s board of Directors to identify priorities, and to ensure work is completed in a timely and organized manner. The positions include the supervision of part-time help. Housing on site is included.

Both positions require:

Valid driver’s license

High School graduate or equivalent

Proficiency with QuickBooks (or willingness to learn the program)

Residency on the property

Successful completion of background check
