Domestic Couple sought for role in Maidwell, Northamptonshire. The property is located on a farm and is home to an informal and friendly couple and their grown up daughter who regularly visits. The Principals are looking for a discreet and flexible Couple who are seeking a long term role.

The Housekeeper will be responsible for all ironing, general cleaning (including polishing of silver) and food shopping. It would be a bonus if the candidate is able to occasionally do some light cooking. For example, plating a meal up should the principles be away and then travelling home. The farm itself is large, however gardening duties will only be required for a 2 acre area. Role duties will include mowing, hedge trimming and looking after the vegetable garden. Other duties will include light property maintenance, occasionally driving the principals and caring for the chickens and ducks.

Animal lovers are essential as the Couple will be required to dog sit (for 3 dogs) approximately 16 weeks a year when the principles are away. There are also sheep and horses, so a Couple who has some knowledge or interest would be a bonus, but is not essential as a Groom can be hired. At least one driver required, car provided whilst on duty.

Accommodation provided is a 2 bedroom stone barn on the farm. Pets considered. Working hours will be Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week each with flexibility if doing dog sitting at weekends. Housekeeper to start at 8:30pm and Gardening/pet duties to start at 7:30am.
