SUMMARY
- We’re recruiting a talented, trustworthy, and dynamic duo to serve as InnKeepers/Hosts at our beautiful vacation rental business on the Big Island of Hawaii. Together, you will live and work on a gorgeous south-Kona property with tropical fruit trees and breathtaking coastline views.
- Your most important job duties include maintaining impeccably clean AirBnB guest accommodations; ensuring well-kept and safe grounds; and, hosting each guest with the utmost professionalism.
- The job requires full focus and flexibility given the around-the-clock nature of hospitality. It is impossible to excel while juggling other gigs. Only the most committed candidates should apply. The process is competitive, the work is demanding, and the reward is high.
- NOTE: We are NOT looking for people accustomed to supervising staff. You ARE the staff - regularly cleaning AirBnBs, hauling trash, window-cleaning, weeding, gardening, doing daily laundry, completing DIY projects, fixing toilets and lights, etc. Must be self-motivated with impeccable standards of excellence, paying attention to the smallest of details.
COMPENSATION
Your generous compensation package includes:
- Beautiful accommodations for TWO people (additional space NOT available).
- FREE utilities.
- Access to our work vehicle for business purposes.
- Monthly stipend commensurate with experience.
- Two weeks paid vacation after 12 months.
- 50% smart-phone bill reimbursement (reliable south Kona service + capacity required).
- End-of-year bonus after 12-months that rewards your unique contributions.
- Note: Single-bedrooms in HI plus utilities now approximates $3000/month + vehicles are costly.
DAILY TASKS
- Guests come to Hawaii to enjoy; your job is to ensure they do by meeting their needs without intrusiveness.
- Must be physically fit to landscape, using: weed-whacker, blower, mower, power washer and gardening tools.
- Perform basic handyman jobs such as painting, light carpentry, common plumbing repairs, and common electrical skills like changing outlets.
- Daily cleaning with attention to detail, every time.
- Committed to responding to guest requests immediately, always following-through with professionalism and Aloha.
- Leading others, as needed.
- Resolve sensitive situations with effective problem-solving and communication skills.

- Previous experience in property management, trades, landscaping, or related fields.

- Handy with tools, household chores, DIY projects, and troubleshooting.
- Superb cleaning skills with attention to details.

- Valid drivers’ license + insurance.
