Workamping Couple Needed - Southwest MO

Like having fun? How about exploring and seeing new things? With a short drive we have caves, Bass Pro shop and aquarium, zoo’s and parks, Branson,mo and so much more. We are located 45 minutes from Springfield, Mo and we are looking for a workamping couple.

Work Part time 3 days a week then the rest of your time is yours to explore and see new things.

This position only requires you to work the weekend shift(Saturday, Sunday and Monday) 4 hours a day in the winter and 6 hours a day in the summer.

Most of our campers are long term so this is not a fast pace campground. We are looking for a long term couple. We are open year round. We have 3 family orientated parks in this area. This park is about 10 minutes from Walmart and Lowe's or anything else you would need. We are looking to fill this position ASAP.

The perfect couple for this park must be hardworking but also know how to have fun. Must be a self starters and able to work without constant supervision. We would like people that are creative and would like to help us make this an awesome park. We are always open to ideas to improve the park and we have a lot of projects planned, we just need the help to make them a reality. This park has so many possibilities that we wish to expand upon. It is truly a diamond in the rough.

Compensation:

You will be provided a 50/30amp FHU Site for your camper free of charge. 40% Discount on propane and store items. There is no salary compensation with this position. This position is perfect for a retired couple. If you are a crafty kind of person you would be allowed to put some of your items up for sale in our store.

Duties to include (between the two):

Camp hosting

Housekeeping (No Cabins to clean)

Computer skills (We use Resnexus and will train)

Propane dispensing (Training provided)

Pool maintenance (seasonal)

NO Lawn mowing or weed eating

One person will be doing site checks, assisting campers... etc. The other will be running the office/store, answering phone calls, making reservations, cleaning two bathhouses, clean laundromat, assisting campers... Etc. They will not be stuck inside all the time, they can also work outside on projects (preferred).
