Park Yourself in Appalachia near Grayson Highlands State Park - Help Maintain Small Property with 2 Tiny Home AirBNBs - Mouth of Wilson, VA

If you are looking for a purposeful yet more simple life away from the city rat-race or even away from the busy campground...then consider joining us here at Rugby Creek.  We are a 67 acre family run farm, with AirBNB business, nestled into the Appalachian Mountains only minutes from Grayson Highlands State Park and Mt Rogers Wildnerness Area.  Nearby is the north-flowing New River, The Virginia Creeper Trail, The New River Trail, Mt Jefferson and many other local natural attractions. 

We are seeking a couple who are seeking a quiet place to plant for a while (short term or long term options). Your spot on the farm would be nestled into the woods with views nearby of the mountains and farm.  You would have a FULL hookup (electric, water and sewer) We will also provide Wifi and we have washer/dryer facilities down on the farm for your use as well.   The hookup site can accomodate approx a 36' rig.  We feel these services/hookup are worth a $35/night trade for a total trade services per month of $1050.  We will also be paying $500/month stipend.  In exchange we would request that you work for 25 hrs a week. The hours and days can be flexible; ex: work 5 days 5 hrs or work shorter days longer hours of if two of you are working that cuts it down even more. This work would consist of maintaining your area, our moms cabin area and both tiny home areas.  The work would consist of landscape maintenance, mowing, weed eating, spraying, cutting firewood for mom/yourself and guests.  Also minor repairs to the structures/property if needed and being available "if needed" for the guests (like being locked out of their tiny home or if they have a small sink leak etc).

Our mom's cabin is within site of your hookup location but there is enough space between to feel private.  She has a few small farm animals (mini horse, 2 mini goats, chickens) in her backyard, 3 small dogs and a cat. We like our guests to seek quiet peaceful r&r and enjoy providing this for them as well as for you and ourselves too.

On the rest of the farm our business is AirBNB vacation rentals consisting of 2 cabins (soon to be 3) and 4 barn apartments.     Our Farm consists of horses (retired and rescued mostly), 2 milk cows (yes we do milk one at a time), 1 Tibetan Yak (super cool), and a mixture of sheep/goats/rabbits and chickens.  

We do require the following:
* Must speak English
* Pass Background Check
* Will accept a 1099
* Have valid drivers license
* No Drugs or Partying
* No kids on regular basis (visiting kids on occasion is fine)
* Bring your pets are fine (dogs must not be off leash but a fence around your campsite is fine, no incessent barking dogs as we have cabin guests near your hookup/campsite)
* Must Like Animals and Nature to live here
* Be proficient with riding mowers, push mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, log splitters etc etc
