NOW HIRING UNIQUE COUPLES   Safe Harbor Boys Home seeks ministry minded, mission-focused "called to serve" couples with varied skills and talents to  "parent", correct, guide, teach and direct our residents. Live on site couples provide direct care for a small group of adolescent boys (12-15 maximum), age 14 to 17, to foster their character, spiritual, emotional growth, along with vocational skill sets. Program provides live in quarters aboard one of our program vessels (power or sailboat) or you may bring your own live-aboard vessel

Couples who have practical life experience, boating, sailing &/or small space living experience is preferred.  Must have some ability to provide/teach general maintenance .  Other vocational skills that are assets include - off grid living, carpentry, mechanical, sewing, canvas work, boat repair, marina work, gardening, etc..to teach the residents.  Must have strong relationship skills, be able to correct without 'coddling', ongoing training is provided.   Safe Harbor uses principles of Love and Logic and TBRI.  This is a VERY ACTIVE position with lots of time walking the property, docks, boarding boats, climbing stairs so good physical health is crucial.  See our website for more information.

SCHEDULE: A great schedule of two weeks (14 days) on and one week (7 days) off; shifts are @ 9 hours of awake duty with rotation of "on call" required in case of emergency.   We require marriage according to Biblical standards and our Statement of Faith.  Cash portion of salary for couples start at $48,000.  Health Insurance, 403(b) retirement program, paid time off, dining on campus, access to laundry facilities, and other insurance benefits available.
