Equine Barn Manager and Care Givers - Bucyrus, KS

We are looking for long term employees who will live on site. This is not a riding job and this is not just a stall cleaning feeding job.  We are looking for organized, self motivated, knowledgeable people who can run the barn and over see the well-being of the horses and all aspects of their care without being supervised. This is a private Hunter Jumper barn with 23 horses in stalls and 3 pasture horses. The job would include but not limited too, stall cleaning, water buckets dumped and filled, feeding, turnout and bring in, wound care, medication, working with the Vet or farrier, mowing, weed eating, dragging rings, repairs of fencing or buildings, waters, help with haying, sweeping, ordering shavings and feed supply, dealing with customers, blanketing.

Offering 3 bedroom apartment, all utilities, Wi-Fi, satellite, workman's comp, 1 week paid vacation per year after 6 months , $1000 a week.

 6 days a week, Sundays off.  
non smoking, no drinking, pass a background check, references, at least 5 years horse experience
