Full Time 2 – Person Motel Manager(s) Position:

∙ Two Persons to work TOGETHER as a TEAM. This is NOT a one person job.

This is a small but busy motel that is nestled in the mountains of Eastern Oregon. Motel has a rustic log cabin appeal with 30 rooms that has been a tourist favorite. We are looking for a couple that has hospitality and maintenance background and that are energetic and self motivated. 

Computer system is Innroads and simple to use. Maintenance is a variety of items such as plumbing, painting, carpet cleaning, and groundskeping. Management is expected to help with the upkeep and cleaning of rooms as well as doing the laundry. In high season of March to October, there will be plenty of staff to help with the day to day operations. During the low season, managers are expected to do the day to day with minimal to no staff. We are looking to re-establish our reputation as a tourist favorite.

Salary is DOE and is very competitive. Living quarters are a small two bedroom apartment that is attached to the office. This is a two person position that requires two individuals to live together. A partnership, domestic relationship, or married. I will need a resume from both persons applying for the position. 

PREFERS: Experience in the Lodging Industry such as Front Desk, Office work, Housekeeping, ect….

Job Duties:

∙ Live Onsite and perform all Motel Operations including:

  Front Desk –

   Housekeeping and Laundry

Attention to details

   Able to fix Repairs, help with upgrades to Motel

  Maintain Parking Lots, Flower Beds, Courtyard

    Take Reservations by Phone/In Person

   Needs basic Computer, and email knowledge 

     Greet Customers, Check guests In/Out of Rooms, Issue Keys, take payments

      Complete Daily balancing of Till and Reports

     Schedule, Supervise and Assist Housekeeping staff and Laundry.

      Other Duties as Assigned.

Hours:

∙ At least one member of TEAM must be Onsite 24 hours per day, 6 days a week. WILL work Weekends.

∙ Motel Lobby is open from 6:30 A.M. to 10 P.M. Night Bell available for after hour guests.
