FEATURED JOB OPENING: Domestic Couple – Chef and Housekeeper Needed - Palm Beach, FL & New York/Hamptons, NY

Position Summary:

Executive couple with homes in Palm Beach, New York City, and the Hamptons would like to hire a Palm Beach-based Domestic Couple (one of whom is a chef, one of whom is a housekeeper) to travel with them to their formal residences and provide daily meal preparation and cleaning at each home.

Responsibilities:

For the chef, these will include menu planning, meal preparation, oversight of the kitchen, provisioning, and assisting with events. The ability for the chef to assist with other household duties is required. For the housekeeper, responsibilities will include daily cleaning at each residence, including care of fine furnishings and materials. Additional responsibilities will include organizational projects, laundry, serving, and assisting with meal preparation/preparing meals.

Qualifications:

At least five years of experience working in a fine home required. The chef must have excellent culinary skills, and the housekeeper must have great cleaning and ironing skills and be knowledgeable in the care of fine materials and furnishings. Ability to travel with the family to their residences in New York City and the Hamptons required; the Couple will work in Florida October through April and in New York from May through September, primarily in the Hamptons.

Schedule:

Generally a five day work week. This are full-time, year-round positions.

Compensation:

Joint compensation of $175,000 to $200,000+ offered, depending on experience, with an excellent benefits package (health insurance, paid time off, 401(k), etc.). accommodations are provided in New York City and the Hamptons – negotiable in Palm Beach.
