FEATURED JOB OPENING: Property Maintenance Couple - Shooting Creek, NC

Would you like the opportunity to work/live in one of the most beautiful areas of the country, surrounded by thousands of acres of wilderness, with a live trout stream, hiking trails, waterfalls and other incredible outdoor recreation opportunities, all right outside of your front door?  We have an immediate need for a strong, proficient, stable couple (or single person!), with a varied skill set, to assist us with property maintenance and care, in Western NC/Northeast GA, in exchange for housing, with all utilities paid.  Small monthly stipend TBD.  We have also started a new grading/hardscape/contractor business and will need a person to assist with those offsite jobs - an hourly wage or "per job" wage will be paid for all of those contracts.  If a couple, we are not opposed to one party having outside income and assisting us on a part time basis (with the other person being full time)

Skills desired include operation of (or assisting with site prep around) heavy equipment, chainsaws, rigging, tree felling, mechanical skills.  Basic carpentry, basic electrical and plumbing, woodworking/furniture making, and garden/greenhouse knowledge all a plus, but not necessary - more important than anything is a can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and do whatever is necessary to assist on property, from running errands and trash runs, to assisting in the repair (possible building) of structures, tree removal, lawn care, gutter cleaning, and other tasks.  

Must like animals (dogs/cats), as we have them on property and may need occasional assistance with pet care, and MUST be comfortable with remote living - we are 40 minutes, one way, to the closest town!  Please - NO PETS (indoor cat may be considered), no kids, and NO DRAMA!
