Resident Manager Couple - Osoyoos, BC

As a result of our continued growth, Safari Beach Resort is seeking enthusiastic and energetic people to enhance the quality of our organization. Currently we are looking for honest and reliable candidates able to work as a live-in Assistant resident manager couple.

This is a full-time; live in opportunity for two people who enjoy working with the public in a resort environment. Please note this position is for a couples (team) to assist with the management of our buildings. Duties include assisting in Strata and Resort building management through monitoring phones, the property, light maintenance & cleaning. Resident Managers are property caretakers who live on site at the condo complex.

Qualifications

-Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve

-basic maintenance skills

-General understanding of hospitality operations

-Excellent communication skills required

-Good judgement and innovation

-Ability to work independently and as a team

-Ability to bend, push and pull 50 lbs. as well as go up and down stairs

Job Requirements

-High school Diploma or 5 years work related experience

-Previous experience in resort management

-Must live on site

-Must be willing to work 5 consecutive days in the week, this will include Saturdays and Sundays

-Ability to bend, push and pull 50 lbs. as well as go up and down stairs

-PC skills are an asset

-Must be able to live on site

-Must have a good understanding of the English language (both written and verbal)

-Will deal directly with any noise complaints from or by guests

-maintain the building and by performing minor and routine painting, plumbing and other related maintenance activities.

Salary: Includes lakeside 1400 square foot  condo suite, rate is negotiable based on experience
