Who We Are

MBCH is a leading trauma-informed child welfare agency that provides services to youth in state custody due to abuse/neglect.  MBCH is a Christian faith-based agency whose mission is to serve God by responding to the needs of children, youth and families to make a lasting difference in their lives.

As a Youth Care Specialist, your day will involve working directly with teens who have experienced trauma. You will build connections and relationships with them, manage their daily needs, help them with their education, transport them to appointments and for outings, and assist with recreational activities as well as daily devotions and prayer. Since we are a Christian faith-based organization, you will be able to live out your faith in practical ways every day. The job is rewarding and life-changing (for both you and the client).

As a live-in Youth Care Specialist, you will work for 7 straight days and then get the next 7 days off to do whatever you like!   On the 7 days that you will be working you will receive regular breaks. Compensation:

• High school diploma:  from $24,447.00/annually
• Bachelor’s degree:  from $29,724.00/annually

Eligibility Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• At least high school diploma or equivalent
• Able to work live-in schedule (alternating weeks – 7 days on duty/7 days off duty)
• Since MBCH Children and Family Ministries is a Christian faith-based agency, all staff are expected to share our Christian faith, values and ministry focus and be able to live them out as they work with our clients.
