WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We are a high-functioning intentional community that live and work on a large beautiful ranch in NE New Mexico. We are looking for individuals and couples that wish to live and work as part of the community first and foremost. Our ideal candidates must be positive, energetic, go-getters, have high standards of work and attention to detail. They must have a generous nature, a desire to embrace ranch/rural and intentional community living, as well as a love for nature and the environment. Aside from the ranch's vast beauty, we have facilities and cottage industries that support our community, including cattle ranching, hunting, forestry, lodge and room rentals, retreats, camping and more.
Our goal is to find the right people to be immersed in community living, while helping to run this beautiful Hunting Ranch, which supports and funds our community and way of life. Everyone on the ranch is expected to help pitch in with any and every aspect of the hunting business, if and when needed. This includes contributing the hospitality and care of our guests and facilities. When we work together, the load is lighter and everyone has the space to enjoy their time here.
Wheaton Creek Ranch is a natural habitat situated in the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Region of Northern New Mexico. The area teems with wildlife, stretching over 36,000 acres in the Rocky Mountains.
We are a community of people committed to living in harmony and sustainability with each other and the abundant plant and animal life here. Our values include, but aren't limited to, Humility, Hospitality, Honesty, and Happiness.
Currently we are looking for individuals or couples to join our team and help with Ranch and Hunting activities. We are seeking:
-Sawyer/Forester
-Seasonal cook for guest hunters and hunting guides
We are trying to build our community and obtain help for the upcoming Elk and Mule Deer Hunting season, which runs Sep-Jan, as well as our Turkey Hunts in April. We are very diverse here, with an opportunity to learn many skills and be a part of various projects.
Community members will join our team as independent contractors. Compensation for these positions will vary based on responsibilities, experience and need.
There are also many benefits, including on-site housing and access to amenities, available to the right applicants.
Please send an email with a resume for each individual, as well as a cover letter expressing your interest in joining our team as well as which position you're most interested in.
